Whatever happened to Essa Rios? Could he have gone further in WWF? To this day I think he might have had the best moonsault I've ever seen (maybe tied with Kurt)
He's still wrestling. He's going by his original name Mr. Aguila in Mexico. He works fairly regularly. It's wild to think he's only 48 years old, because people as young as he was don't seem to be on the main roster that often these days. He and Lita had something really special in WWE, but I don't think at that point he would have went much further in WWE because of the nature of that era. Vince McMahon just didn't push luchas quite like that.
Could you see Foley doing a last match in AEW? I thought I remembered there was talk last year of Mick wanting to do something with MJF. Would a tag with Darby vs. MJF & a partner be possible
I think a lot of things are possible. Something with MJF himself is possible. MJF can carry that match. A tag team match is definitely also possible, but I think that Foley vs. MJF is probably a big goal of MJF's personally, because he's pushed for it very hard for a very long time. I think Blood and Guts, Stadium Stampede, Anarchy in the Arena are all possibilities.
What are the exact stipulations or guidelines for an AEW “Title Eliminator” match?
Well, that's pretty simple. If the champion loses in any capacity, the opponent gets a title shot. Doesn't matter if it's pinfall, submission, DQ, countout. That's pretty well always been the rule as I remember it.
