When the Paramount/WBD merger closes, do you think AEW could possibly get tv specials on CBS??
Yeah, it's certainly possible. How television, cable and streaming will look a year or two from now is all speculatory at this point. Look at it like this. It's long been rumored that WBD owns a piece of AEW. If that is true, and carries over to Paramount, they will be much more invested in it than if not. Once upon a time Spike wanted to own a percentage of TNA, or so the rumor went. Jeff Jarrett claims that wasn't the case or else Dixie would have taken it for the security. So if Paramount owns a piece, that could lead to bigger things.
Hey Sean the wwe supercard mobile game had an event card for Kairi Sane last week which is very odd because they have never done that before for someone who was released. Anything to this??
She's still under contract, technically. She won't be in a month. When I asked, I was told she's leaving the company, and hasn't been brought back or anything like that. Sorry if that disappoints anyone.
Who do you foresee is the next big name star to hit the open market?
I don't think she'll hit the open market, but Bayley is a big one that could be on the horizon. Her contract is supposed to be up over the next year, and obviously every company in the world would have interest in her. WWE should also be interested in retaining her. If I were her, I would leverage the hell out of this situation, and get the biggest contract of her life, with a complete no-cut clause.
