With new figures being announced for the Nasty Boys assuming they are under a legends deal, do you see them going to HOF since they had a close connection to Hogan?
Yeah I think there's a possibility for them. I would imagine they would happily go to Saudi to make that happen, too. They do have two of the best wrestling shirts of all time, though. Their original paint splatter is still heavily used to this day. The "NASTY. I. AM" shirts in TNA kicked all kinds of ass, too. I don't think their connection to Hulk Hogan would have anything to do with it. They're four time tag team champions, including solid title reigns in both WWF and WCW. They also had runs in NJPW and AWA, and definitely more forgettable ones in NWA, AJPW and TNA. They're qualified
Do you think WWE are waiting for AEW's Revolution plans before announcing the Wrestlemania date? Do you know any reason for the delay in the date announcement?
I think WWE has the date nailed down because they would have to in order to announce the watch parties and Stand and Deliver and AAA at their specific locations. We are going to poke around to see what we can find out about the date, because usually we have a pretty good lead on those NYC dates.
Did the dark order sign new fully guaranteed contracts or are they on per appearance deals? I'm still shocked they got re-signed when they are only used on ROH.
As best I know, full time deals. Evil Uno is working as a coach. They've been there since near the start and all are well liked in AEW. You do also need talent to work on Ring of Honor, so I'm not surprised.
Serious question, at what point do we expect Fanatics to look into some equity in TKO, given their tight relationship?
I mean they can buy stock at any point, but there's certainly a possibility down the line that Fanatics prefers equity compared to another financial incentive. I'm sure WWE wouldn't mind that since it incentivizes Fantatics to succeed. I wouldn't doubt if that ends up happening within the next couple of years.
