An AEW wrestlers' deal is currently set to expire later this year.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned that Max Caster's All Elite Wrestling contract is set to expire around October of this year. Caster hasn't wrestled for AEW at all in 2026, but has been regularly working the independent circuit. We've not heard of him being backstage much in recent months.

Caster found success with the Acclaimed, where he became an AEW Tag Team Champion alongside Anthony Bowens. The duo also won the Trios Titles with Billy Gunn.

We've not heard if Caster and AEW have discussed an extension.

If I remember rightly he had a bit of heat on him for the content of some his raps at one point. That said I like him and he got that best wrestler alive chant over like crazy at one point.

Interested to know why he hasn't been featured as much. I feel like he can fill a decent role that others are currently filling and would be able to flourish with it. Would like to see what his future holds

Max hit heights with Bowens in Acclaimed that were well deserved due to the work they put in - even if Max pushed boundaries with content in his raps. - Then when Max started the best wrestler alive today gimmick he got so much more legs out of that than anyone could have thought - but I can't see a position for him in the current landscape, outside of ROH.

Think he's a decent wrestler tbh. While I didn't love all his raps I'm a fan of him overall. Wishing him the best whether he decides to stay or goes somewhere else. Loved The Acclaimed.

Thank you for getting this update SRS

He's an amazing wrestler and I absolutely hate that Tony Khan gave in to the Internet mob too sensitive for raps. And I don't like rap music at all. Max should be in the main event scene instead he's been ostracized like Britt has been for completely unfair reasons. Tony needs to grow a pair imo.

With the tag division hotting up i dont know why Acclaimed dont run it back as they were well over as a team

I feel like he could honestly have a fun run in NXT or TNA, but damn I miss the Acclaimed
