When do you reckon AEW will pursue another console game? With their surge in popularity I’m surprised they’re not looking into it currently
I haven't heard of them pursuing one any time soon. However, I'd imagine when they do, they'll keep it much more quiet than they did last time. Announcing it so early led to so much pressure, so many questions, and a lot of expectations. I'd heard that the company retained the rights to the engine, so they'll at least have that to work off of.
Hi SRS. What is AEW's reaction for the announcement of All Out and World's Collide being at the same city and same is time? Do you expect AEW will go "All Out" for this ppv?
Just business as usual. They almost always expect something like this to happen. It's not new, and it's going to keep happening. There's nothing they can do to stop it, and I can't imagine it's going to affect their booking after it happening so many times at this juncture.
Does Ashante joining STP mean no room for Maclin? Does Maclin put on a suit and join the Hurt Syndicate instead?
I don't think that Steve Maclin is joining the Hurt Syndicate, but that's not the worst fit I've ever heard of. Ashante's name was briefly mentioned with the Hurt Syndicate backstage last year, but nothing ever came of it. I feel the need to note to aggregators that we reported that months ago. The Maclin/AEW deal is not done as of yet that I've heard, but I do believe there have been conversations. I think he could be a unique fit in a number of groups -- DCF, Infantry, others. I don't think Hurt Syndicate is among them.
