FREE POST: A much needed Debunkathon, AEW All In News, Contract Notes, TNA interest, Smackdown Rundown, More (Patreon)

Hey guys! SRS here. We've decided to make this week's Debunkathon free for all paid and free subscribers because...the world needs it. This was one of the more media illiterate weeks I've ever seen. Every week we load up the Debunkathon with actual news bits as well.

Please consider becoming a paid subscriber to support our coverage, and media literacy.

This week, we'll have AEW All In preview shows, bonus reviews and scoops threads

The fires in London affected everything from media day to wrestlers getting to travel and see sights.

There are additional talent under AEW/ROH contract we are working to confirm.

We're told that TNA has definitely kept their eye on Fourth Rope talent, which put Joe Alonzo and Joshua Bishop on their radar.

TNA still has interest in Bishop and J Rod following their WWE tryouts.

Fightful attended an event at SlooMoo Institute for the Pixel Flow game where we spoke with Kayla Becker (Braxton), Mojo Muhtadi (Rawley), Cassie Lee fka Peyton Royce, Jonathan Gresham, and Kacy Catanzaro. Jordynne Grace and Noelle Foley also attended.

It was reiterated to us last week that Viva Van's AEW contract is a salaried deal.

We followed up with the same WWE sources that said that they expected Richard Holliday to get signed in recent months. They claimed that his name has been consistently been brought up in recent years but they haven't heard movement on him coming in to the company.

Kyle Fletcher, Willow Nightingale, Orange Cassidy, Kevin Knight, Tommaso Ciampa, Speedball Mike Bailey, Maya World all did media on Friday ahead of AEW All In.

Debunkathon

Heel Yard is an absolute phony and we've had to correct him directly a number of times, but the account that reported this on Facebook is literally someone pretending to be a woman and a scoopster. They are neither.

I can't convey more -- Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez did not report that Bayley has re-signed with WWE. They said that it would make sense considering how often that WWE has referenced her on TV. She still has months on her deal. Engagement bait accounts don't care about context.

Regarding the ESPN-WWE story that SEScoops retracted, ESPN PR had made themselves available to wrestling media a number of months ago and established contacts. They readily answer inquiries like that. We've heard nothing of the sort regarding ESPN not renewing WWE at this point. That may happen, but it isn't a factor yet.

Dave and Bryan also did not report that the Young Bucks are "believed to be" on their last AEW contracts. They speculated it could be. We haven't heard from anyone internally that they believe the Young Bucks are on their last deals at this stage. A note to media and fans: this is why you shouldn't aggregate aggregators.

I'm not sure why this account claimed that we said Tony Khan and AEW weren't at all responsible for overruns, or why they included quotes from Wrestling Observer in this post as if we said it. We didn't.

There is no discussion of Adam Copeland aka Edge having his last match at AEW WrestleDream. This has become a go to for scheming facebook accounts to generate traffic.

When you see "per LV" just disregard it. It isn't an actual person or a reporter. It's what these scam facebook accounts use in order to just put out any old bullshit and have no responsibility when they're called on it.

CM Punk did not "COLLAPSE AFTER SMACKDOWN." He was selling.

Wrestling Observer DID NOT report that Bayley, Johnny Gargano, Carmelo Hayes and Damian Priest were on the chopping block. Media almost never reports this kind of thing in wrestling. The "We Love WWE - WLW" account is trash.

There is no TBS Championship ladder match set for AEW All In.

We had reported a number of the planned AEW All In matches months ahead of the show. The idea that they didn't plan much of anything out is incorrect, regardless of your thoughts on the build.
