Following Ilja Dragunov's departure from WWE, WrestleVotes on Fightful Select checked in with a source at WWE who confirmed that the company and Dragunov could not come to terms on a new agreement; thus, Dragunov made the decision to exit. Many within WWE do not view this as a short-term departure like Bronson Reed and Baron Corbin's year and a half away from WWE before returning. The feeling internally at WWE is that Dragunov is going to be away for the time being.A source at AEW believes the company will inquire about bringing Dragunov into the fold in the near future, if they haven't already. One source believes that if those talks go smoothly, a Dragunov appearance in AEW could be on the horizon.
WrestleVotes on Fightful Select spoke with sources and were told that those within AEW are expecting Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed (Xavier Woods) to make their AEW debuts at All In on August 30th.There is no stamped confirmation of that happening, but two different sources relayed that the feeling internally is that Creed and Kofi are AEW-bound.
