Thekla

Fightful Select has an update on Thekla

The former AEW Women's Champion Thekla has been absent since losing the title to Willow Nightingale last month. Thekla was not on any of the build leading to All In. Many have questioned what her involvement would be, which Tony Khan told people to "stay tuned."

We may not need to stay tuned for long. We're told that Thekla is in London ahead of AEW All In London. We've not heard an update on what she'll be doing yet.

Weekend Notes

The fires in London affected a number of wrestler's plans for the day. We've not heard if it will directly impact logistics for AEW All In Weekend.

Tony Khan noted the gate is approaching $6 million for the show and is tracking to be their biggest HBO Max PPV.

Tony also noted that the PPV portion is budgeted for four hours.

Willow Nightingale's hand injury is legitimate.

This should not be a surprise, but Britt Baker is not in London. That could change, but as of Friday was not.

MEDIA DAY

Fightful was in attendance at today's AEW All In media day and spoke to a number of stars. Several of the interviews are already available, and you can watch by clicking their name. A big thank you to Shirleigh for her great work.

Willow Nightingale

Willow discussed her media day outfit, and told Shirleigh that her outfit was inspired by attending the Ted Lasso premiere a few weeks ago

Willow wouldn't spill the beans on a special entrance.

Willow says she feels more pressure this year compared to the past at All In as the champion because she’s no longer trying to make an impression; she’s at the top of the ladder.

She doesn’t feel less like herself despite Mercedes constantly attacking her and wanting to take her smile.

Her advice to Mercedes is, “Have fun” and says they’re both going to “bring hell.”

Kyle Fletcher

Kyle Fletcher thinks that young

He definitely feels the pressure of facing an all-time great in Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita.

Fletcher has a game plan but will adjust at All In

He said that he wanted to work with Don Callis because of his great track record in pro wrestling.

Fletcher says that Conor Mills is a person that he is eyeing for the Don Callis Family.

Kyle Fletcher implied that he might have a special interest.

Kevin Knight

Kevin Knight feels he proven he's a future main eventer, and thinks that he has shown that he responds well to pressure.

He would ideally have a Falls Count Anywhere match in the sun somewhere near the equator because he likes warmth.

Kevin Knight says he won't be the only person involved in his entrance.

Maya World

Maya World is in London for the show, though her match isn't officially announced, she said she would like to face Persephone.

She calls Jamie Hayter a dream one on one match for her. Maya World also has her eyes on Kairi and Dani Luna outside of AEW.

She said that she's always looking at her entrances and thinking of ways to step things up. She believes that her performances made Tony Khan take notice and push her.

She had the best sausage dog of her life in Europe and is taking time Saturday to enjoy some sights.

Orange Cassidy

OC went to a Phantom of the Opera show that he really enjoyed.

If he was a musical, he would be STOMP.

He recommends a Philly Cheesesteak for foreigners trying American food. He scolded Shirleigh for not liking Philly very much.

He said he wished he could have worked with Trent to
