When do you think an exact date or dates for Rumble will be announced and confirmed? Why the hold up?

It's almost certainly going to be the week between the NFL conference Championship and the Super Bowl. They are not going to compete with either of those, and instead want all the focus on them. That's what they should do, too. I don't have an aversion to them not doing it in January.

Could you see Austin Creed winning the world title in AEW? He's the only one of any of his groups (New Day/New Level) to not have a world title

That's not the path I expect right now. They definitely have a "future world champion" logjam. Kevin Knight, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, maybe even Andrade. But I think there is a great, emotional story to tell around Austin Creed winning the world championship, and possibly even over Kenny Omega again. I would love for it to be whenever Big E would have the opportunity to be there, but I'm not sure that's possible.

Ahead of the five-year anniversary of NXT 2.0 starting, what were your thoughts on its (in my opinion) unwelcome retooling and have you changed your mind on any of the initial things that happened in those first few weeks?

The reality is, it was a change because Vince McMahon and WWE were in their feels about the Wednesday Night Wars not going how they wanted, and USA Network telling them they preferred to get numbers instead of helping their petty wrestling war. I actually liked the color changes and theme and such, but I felt like beyond that, the presentation didn't hit. It felt too central to the Orlando area after years and it needed more of a refresh. There were some good talent to emerge from it, especially Bron Breakker and Jacy Jayne. You can't just go back to black and gold either, though. That was its own special thing.

With Steve Borden Jr finally making his on screen debut with AEW what has Garrett Borden been doing hasn’t he started training as well?

Garrett has also started training and wrestling. Steven started over two years ago, pretty soon after AEW Revolution 2024. So it isn't like Steven just decided to do it recently. Steven has had three dozen matches over the last 11 months or so. Garrett has been working a little more quietly. I saw him at Dream Pro Wrestling in something like an 8 man comedy-ish match and he did well.

If E wants to join his brothers in the New Level in AEW its definitely possible. Only he can make it happen. He has done his time there

Daniel Beesley

if he went he wouldn’t be in the ring, E has pretty much confirmed that he physically can’t wrestle anymore.

That is a very big deal that Steven Borden already has 36 matches under his belt before he makes his history making AEW in ring debut tomorrow night

Insomnia Inc

the bottleneck of folks who should certainly be consdiered for next up when it comes to a lot of the titles in AEW seems to grow daily, feels like if Jay White doesn't get SOMETHING soonish they might have a small riot on their hands

Putting Kevin Knight ahead of Andrade for a world title run in AEW is not a take I'd have expected. Any info behind that or just speculation?
