MLW TV deal news, Tessa/CMLL notes, Lodestone, WWE/AAA Producers in Mexico, Ilja, More (Patreon)

Some additional details on the MLW TV deal. The deal is a rights fee deal for the primetime TV show. There is also a revshare for the library integration. The deal was made official in August, close to the five year anniversary of WWE having the original MLW-tubi deal nixed.

It was noted to us that although Butcher and Blade had effectively become free agents this summer, Tony Khan insisted the duo remain on the roster page for the company.

It was further confirmed to Fightful this week that Ilja is set to join the company. There are already internal materials and graphics being prepared for him. They're sorting out his visa situation .

Regarding the Tessa Blanchard-MLW situation, we’re told that CMLL should not have been as caught off guard by it as they appeared. TMZ sources told Fightful Espanol that CMLL reps were actually on the interview call with her.

Things you’re seeing like the Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa Too Cool dance are a part of the efforts the company is making to get viral clips to emerge from WWE live events.

We're told Jake Hager nearly got into a confrontation with members of a college basketball team after his Power Slap Loss this week.

We had some readers from Melbourne, Australia asking why Perth was getting a three-year WWE PLE deal. Ultimately WWE cares about what cities will pay to bring them there.

As noted on Monday, Sam Adonis was backstage at WWE Raw in Mexico on Monday.

Athena, Kris Statlander, Undertaker, Michelle McCool and Ricky Saints are among the people that showed up at the Lodestone Alumni camp this week.

Vinny Pacifico and Peter Avalon have been working on a film project they were cast in recently.

Fightful will have reps in attendance at WrestlePro this weekend, AEW Dynamite in Fishers, WWE Smackdown in Indianapolis, AEW All Out, and AEW Collision in Northern KY. We hope to see some of you!
