Welcome to our all inclusive SCOOPS THREAD. This will be updated constantly throughout the day!

AEW

Even top stars we’ve spoken to don’t know exactly when Ilja will be joining AEW on screen. He is coming to AEW, and they had materials prepared for him, but they had been working through visa details.

We’re told the plan is to keep The Butcher on the AEW roster page permanently, much like Brodie Lee.

AEW sources claim they do plan to continue to use Cassie Lee periodically on ROH TV while Jess McKay is out of action.

As of Tuesday of this week, Kairi was not signed by AEW.  She is not planned for AEW All In, and we're told that it would be a "miracle" for her to appear because of visa related reason.

Sheamus will not be in AEW for All Out. His contract is not up until next week.

Kenny Omega was also not planned for AEW All In as of this week.

Dani Luna is signed and materials have been prepared for her debut.

AEW had Wheeler Yuta, Thunder Rosa and New Level doing media this week to promote AEW All Out.

WWE News

Regarding Worlds Collide, it doesn’t take much to figure this out, but WWE ran this show directly to impact AEW All In ticket sales. The sources I spoke to in WWE admitted they didn’t expect AEW to sell as well as it did, but were still happy with their own sales. The decision to not broadcast the event live was made to encourage people in the Chicago area to attend the event in person to be able to see it, which would theoretically impact AEW ticket sales. Sources we spoke to said that the decision was made by early August to not broadcast the event live.

There was a lot of inquiry within AEW and WWE about the status of Evolve considering the WWE Main Event Rumble deal on Wednesdays and Worlds Collide airing on Wednesday as well.

There were tweets asking if Rockstar Spud aka Drake Maverick was still with WWE since he started doing wrestling matches and interviews again. He was listed as a writer on multiple segments on this week’s WWE Raw.

Some were asking about Bobby Roode's WWE status after being moved to the alumni section of WWE's website. He's still with the company as a producer.

CM Punk’s involvement was discussed from very early on in the planning stages of the event.

There was a completely fake John Cena quote going around this week, saying that Triple H asked him to work War Games last year and he declined. That isn't true.

Planeta Wrestling claimed that we reported that Baron Corbin and Big Cass agreed to gigantic, reduced wages to sign with WWE. We have no frame of reference for their dollar amounts and did not report that.
