Latest on Crown Jewel, WrestleMania, The Sphere Theories. (Patreon)

As of now, Crown Jewel is still planned for Saudi Arabia. While things could always change, sources working onsite in Saudi say that they've been there, working on the event for weeks, and fully expect the event to go along as planned. Ariel Helwani learned that for the Power Slap event the day before, some members of the production crew will fly into Bahrain and take a five hour bus to Riyadh for their show. WWE is in town for their Crown Jewel event the next night.

Sources onsite that we spoke to claimed that the situation was "nowhere near as bad as the media makes it out to be," but WWE talent and staff we've spoken to are reasonably concerned. The U.S. Embassy urged extreme caution for Americans at Saudi airports

On a recent podcast, Eric Bischoff theorized that The Sphere in Las Vegas could be WWE's backup plan for WrestleMania, saying he would be "shocked" if that wasn't the case. WWE hasn't publicly announced a date for WrestleMania as of yet, as they had been waiting for the week of Crown Jewel, based on what Fightful Select learned. However, we're not sure if that's still the plan considering the possible issues in Saudi Arabia. However, Pollock & Thurston recently revealed April 10-11 as the internally slated WrestleMania dates. As of now, John Mayer is scheduled at The Sphere from April 8-18, 2027, as well as the end of the month. Oprah Winfrey is there April 2-4. WWE would maybe have a window the weekend of April 24-25, but we haven't heard of anything indicating this is happening.
