Brian Cage signed with AEW in 2020, and his current deal is set to expire unless an extension is reached, Fightful has learned.

Cage's contract is set to expire in a matter of weeks, Fightful Select has learned. Cage's deal was set to expire last year as well, before his option year was picked up by All Elite Wrestling. We were told at the time that Cage was pleasantly surprised as he didn't expect to have his option picked up after not being on TV for months.

Cage is one-third of the current ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions with Kaun and Toa Liona.
There have been feelers within WWE that have gauged the company's interest in bringing Cage in, we're told. Though we aren't sure if there's particular interest on either side. Cage has received praise for his work since his television return in mid-2022.

He was in the WWE system in the late 2000s as Kris Logan in FCW, a rip off of Wolverine. He had a lot less muscles back then. He was released. Only reason to bring him in at his age is to reunite him with LA Knight has they had a successful tag team in California. Realistically, WWE has zero interest.

Would love to see a match with him and Walter

Scott Newcomb

Will be interesting to see what happens. Tony didnt use him for what almost a year??

He’s had a good few months but with such a bloated roster I feel he’s exactly the sort of talent you let move on.

Joel Wood

I hope he gets some assurances from AEW. Don’t make the same mistake Miro did by signing a new deal just to get benched and wrestle 4 matches this year

Like Chelsea green who has signed for a while now but they still don't have any creative for her?

Nobody knows if they have any creative for her. Probably because she’s likely returning at the rumble as oppose to coming in cold like Emma. Playing whataboutism on an issue like this is hilarious. Miro wrestled 4 matches in 2022. 4. Cage was OFF TELEVISION for about 7 months before his deal was renewed last year

Wouldn’t mind a Natural Selection reunion in WWE.

I might as well ask. Was he ever actually an antivaxxer?

Who'd he reunite with? Admittedly never heard of that team or stable.

Last I checked, Miro isn't being utilized cause he refuses to put his opponents over. Grain of salt, though.

Me either. But until I learn otherwise I'm gonna assume Charlotte for the hell of it. Lol

Natural Selection was the name of Brian’s tag team with Shaun Ricker, aka LA Knight.

I highly doubt he refuses to put anybody over. The problem was they wanted to bring him back after months off just to put somebody over. That makes no sense. And that was in November. He had only wrestled 4 times from January til October

Coming at a great time for Cage. AEW put belts on him and is booking him well obviously for negotiations, but his work has gone so well that his price has to be at the highest it’s ever been
