Fightful spoke to Aubrey Edwards for a new interview!
Aubrey said that she started as a programmer after getting a degree in computer science, and ended up working on twelve different games at four companies. She worked on AEW Elite General Manager and was helping oversee their decision making, time management and budget. Aubrey would help guide creative aspects and consulting on the art direction. She also wrote the scripts for the season passes. They had a couple of people on the team who were big wrestling fans, but they had to show others the ropes.
Aubrey noted that she hasn't been broken or cracked in the ring yet, but Nyla Rose was able to do it on a game stream. She mentioned Cody Rhodes, Marty Elias, Chris Jericho as people who have all helped her out a lot in AEW.
We spoke to her for an episode of SHOOTING SOFTLY, where she said MJF was a generational talent, spoke how dedicated Britt Baker is with her schedule, and said that Paul Turner is the most giving senior referee she's ever met. He makes sure they all have something cool at every show.
