News on WBD audio and listing issues of AEW (Patreon)

Things haven't been smooth sailing between WBD and AEW over the last week.

On last week's episode of AEW Dynamite, there were several audio issues through the TBS feed. The situation persisted on the October 5, episode, but that wasn't the biggest problem. WBD sources confirmed with us that they became aware of a mistake regarding AEW Dynamite's listing yesterday morning across multiple providers that likely caused viewership issues. The WBD source called all of the issues "inexcusable" and admitted they felt bad for them.

We're told that there was a lot of frustration within AEW as they often get blamed for these issues, but there was nothing they could do.

A reminder -- you can watch the FITE feed of AEW Dynamite every week with NordVPN.com/Fightful

Trevor D.

Have to think these issues won’t be forgotten before that deal is up!

Carlos Graham

SRS is a genius for that nordvpn/fightful plug tho I gotta give him credit😂

Modrevolve

Meanwhile I have no problems at all watching them on Fite with Nordvpn..

Ralph Cody

I love watching on fite. Hardly any commercial breaks

Tom LeValley

And WBD isn’t doing AEW any favors switching their timeslots for baseball. Dynamite next week and the next 2 Collisions.

Jeffrey Brown

My DVR recorded 2 hours of The Big Bang Theory and called it AEW Dynamite. I have Xfinity/Comcast cable. Luckily, I was excited to see Edge so I ended up tuning in live which I never do and only missed the first 20-30 mins of the show.

Matthew Hooks

thats ridiculous you cant hurt a product like that its unprofessional

Mere Darling

Watching on Fite is the best way, honestly

D

Last night streaming Dynamite was blocked for Comcast customers while not on home wifi. This would have been a WBD decision or error. I might have to jump on the Nord train if this is a permanent change.

Rashidi Wilson

I always watch the Fite feed as well. It's the best no picture in picture or issues with audio etc.

Matty Nice

My paranoia believes someone is intentionally sabotaging them

Gina

Gotta admit, it was fitting to have tech issues on an anniversary show.

RyanDubz

I live for my AEW+ thanks to NordVPN.

Jen

Fite is great--and not just for the uncensored swear. The commercial break commentary is often hilarious. No audio issues at all

Brian The Dean

Like I said on x. TBS stay fucking up

Derek Taylor

Watching it on Fite is so much better, no commercials and never any audio issues.

Cy

The listing problem is absolutely egregious. It potentially ruined what could have been one of their best viewership ratings of the year because of a technical error that wasn't fixed even though it was identified hours before the show went live. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it came out that someone was intentionally fucking with them, though massive incompetence from WBD is more likely, imo.

This is why cable TV is for dinosaurs, time for people to get with the times

People who set their DVRs to record the same show every week

The FITE version of Dynamite is worth it just to hear the commentators bust each other’s balls during commercial breaks. Gotta love paying less than $20 for PPVs too!
