Twitter account BWE claimed that Velveteen Dream has been going through therapy and progressing well, and had visited the WWE Performance Center, and while he's not signed he was there last night. Thus far, we have not been able to confirm any of those details, outside of the fact that he's not signed.

When speaking to a higher up in WWE, they stated that they have no interest in re-signing Patrick Clark/Velveteen Dream at this time, and something very shocking would have to take place for something like that to happen. Dream had numerous infractions, issues, and controversies while in NXT -- from him being accused of filming fellow wrestlers in the bathroom without their consent, arrests, accusations of recklessness in matches, wellness violations and the like.

Fightful has spoken to a dozen sources who frequent the WWE Performance Center.

"I haven’t seen him around and haven’t heard anything from anybody about him being around. I’m sure it’s possible but not from what I’ve seen or heard," one prominent NXT talent told us.

"I don’t think he would get a job back after everything that’s happened. I honestly don’t think it’s true but I’m not there anymore so I don’t know. But I never heard of someone not in the company chillin at the Performance Center unless they were in talks to sign or is signing officially," said a main roster talent.

Another talent said they were at the WWE PC throughout Monday and not only didn't see him, but didn't hear of him being there, either.  They clarified and said "The “PC” is two buildings," and noted they were there all day and hadn't seen or heard anything. "Would I put it past him to just randomly show up at like 7pm during the production meeting? No I would not," they said.

One other NXT talent said they'd not seen him, despite being there every day.

Finally, another talent echoed the sentiments that we heard universally from talent "I have not seen him nor heard that name in some time. That would surprise me honestly," they said.

Thus far we have no confirmation of Velveteen Dream being around at the Performance Center. So if that's happening, it's being kept away from talent.

We've yet to hear back from coaches on the situation, but will update accordingly if we do, and provide any additional insights that we get. WWE in an official capacity said they did not have information on the situation.

UPDATE: In an update, we were told by WWE emphatically that Velveteen Dream has not been at the WWE Performance Center

UPDATE X2: Velveteen Dream himself confirmed our story, saying on Instagram stories: "I AM NOT IN A REHABILITATION FACILITY NOR HAVE I VISITED ORLANDO FLORIDA  - THE WWE PERFORMANCE CENTER -OR ANY WWE EVENTS OR FACILITIES  I encourage all wrestling media and platforms to highlight the women and men who put together awesome weekly television!  And not waste time publishing and pushing false narratives and fake news about me!  I haven't contributed anything to your line of entertainment in YEARS!  Please do better and use your platforms to showcase the bright and prominent future that is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING."

That BWE account seems to be a total hack.

Busby

Welp…that’s that on that.

Insomnia Inc

I still don't get why anyone believes a thing that boozer dude comes up with, but I know that's a whole other rant. the level of stupid for them to bring VD back would be fairly impressive at this point.

Marc Opps

Love Fightful debunking garbage.

Dave Nguyen

The further away of Patrick Clark from the Performance Center, the better. WWE doesn’t need a serial troublemaker with a history of baggage.

Matt Payne

SRS outs another jaborni "news" account

Stew Sizer

Think i blocked BWE, just because they're spouting some real shite lately

Busby

I still don’t understand why other news outlets keep reporting that Boozer dude when he’s been wrong a majority of the time.

CSDX

IF it's true that he's been getting help for his problems, especially the pedo situation, then while I'm still hesitant on him coming back into wrestling, I do appreciate him trying to fix himself.

John Horton

Thank you for setting the record straight as usual. Those "reports" definitely seemed fake.

Mohamed Saffee

But the real question is, when is WWE going to release Velveteen Dream???????????

Jeffrey Perullo

This BWE dude is just another Xero... winging nonsense at a wall and hoping it sticks.

Adam ingham

Can’t agree with that one. He’s had so much stuff correct before anyone else that it’s really hard to prove that.

Troy A Palek

If you made 10 predictions right now about wwe at least 2 would likely end up correct. Its not hard to make guesses and be right on occasion, and wrong most of the occasions

ES

He gets the rundowns and that's about it.

Busby

Now…with that final update. Do NOT listen to BWE for any legit wrestling reports.

Joel Wood

Another L for BWE

CSDX

Update 2 feels like a mixed bag from him.

CSDX

BWE is Xero? The fake news spreader that got featured regularly by WrestleCringe before he got suspended(WC, that is)?

Ian Henry

BWE taking Ls. You love to see it
