Abadon is back in the fold at All Elite Wrestling.

As they took on Hikaru Shida in an AEW World Title match, many saw Abadon’s return as a thematic addition due to Halloween. While that didn’t hurt, that isn’t the only reason that Abadon has been out of action.

We’re told Abadon had been sidelined with an injury and just got cleared for an AEW return this past Wednesday ahead of AEW Dynamite. Abandon had last competed for AEW back in June, and returned to the ring after a four month absence at REVOLVER’s show the week prior. However, they still needed to gain AEW clearance

We can’t speak as to why Abdon was off television for nearly a year.
