A major women's free agent is set to hit the open market on January 1.

Fightful had reported quite a while back that Deonna Purrazzo's IMPACT Wrestling Contract was set to expire, and she'd become a free agent at the start of 2024. In following up, we're told that Purrazzo intends to explore free agency, and no deal with IMPACT Wrestling has been reached. Purrazzo has worked WWE, NXT, AEW, ROH, AAA and Stardom in the past.

There were some that believed that Purrazzo was set to stay with the company, as she was featured on TNA Wrestling graphics. However, we're told that the last dates that are set for her deal are the IMPACT Wrestling Final Resolution tapings in Canada this weekend.

Those that we spoke to claim that things have remained amicable between Purrazzo and IMPACT Wrestling, and that the door appears to be open to reach a deal or come back. However, as of now, the four-time world champion is set to explore her options.

I think she'll go to AEW

WWE bound I think. I imagine her friendship with Chelsea could play a part.

Could be a good get for anyone. AEW might make sense if Mercedes goes back to WWE before coming in.

I want her and Chelsea Green back together I won't lie.

It's smart to see what other companies are offering

What’s the percentage on AEW and WWE Sean?

Chris Rains

Hope she joins Britt in AEW and that is when we see Britt’s return

Richman

Her two best friends are Chelsea Green and Britt Baker

Rawkuz99

Cue the '...is All Elite' graphic likely.

I’m thinking that too but don’t rule out WWE with her friendship with Chelsea Green.

Im not sure she works in WWE or AEW. In either place shes either not going to get much TV time (WWE) or shell be relegated to ROH (AEW). Also not sure how much more either will pay her than TNA where shes a regular. As Gina K said, going the indy route like Cardona might be a good idea.
