That lore drop went crazy, kicked my brain into overdrive. Surely at least one theory must be on to something...

15:35 Nope. PARA-Raid only goes so far, like when you watched Lena lose contact with Spearhead Squadron. Can or cannot be intercepted, it only reaches to the edge of the 86th District. Since the Federacy is using their own PARA-Raid comms, based on the ones Spearhead showed up with, talking with a Republic PARA-Raid is probably hella easy. Even accidental, if not paying attention. P-Raid did come from magic powers of the Nouzen bloodline, right? Nations haven't been able to communicate with each other because of the Legion. Remember the "rain," the tin butterflies? Those specifically jam comms, except PARA-Raid. If the Federacy got a hold of Roa Garcia and Wald, they probably either ran into a unit from there or else managed to find a read that had less jamming happening, maybe a thinning of Legion at the moment.

16:35 Well, the way Fredericka talked about the Legion, it was made to conquer the world, so of course EVERY nation would be getting nom'd on. 17:00 Lolwat? Were you thinking that the Legion wasn't attacking Dan Magnolia? Because you just said "I didn't know the Legion was even launching an attack on any other nation apart from Giad." What did you think cour 1 was about? San Magnolia was reporting on Legion attacks every episode, sometime multiple attacks. Also, the last episode Lena was in, she remarked aloud about an "eventually large-scale Legion attack on San Magnolia" that she was watching for, since Shin warned her about it(not clearly seen in the anime).

17:30 Also, San Magnolia is probably the most ignorant noobs on the game table. Remember, San Magnolia still thinks they'll win by default within two years. Their reporting is....."silver hair pretty, coloured pigs aren't peoples?"

21:40 Fredericka(NOT a Nouzen) has a magical power, as does Shin. Kiriya had no known abilities, so "that family" probably isn't relevant here. Also, Shin told Raiden about how his parents were from Giad, but Shin was born in the Republic. So, Nouzen would be an established name and family during the Giad Empire.

29:20 I'm guessing "Empire makes and controls Legion{A.I. supported autonomous attack units}, Empire tell Legion to kill, proto-Federacy rebels, Empire falls(meaning those who made and controlled the Legion probably died or were detained), Legion(without masters or emergency controls) adjusts parameters(by way of Artificial Intelligence) to remain hostile to non-Empire units while continuing original purpose(conquer all the bitches)" That's what I get out of the anime info. Fredericka would not have been in the room when Kiri was chopped up and put into a pissed off toaster, so of course she wouldn't say HI WE Kiri became Legion. She was in Ernst protective custody. Le sigh.

TheErisianMonk

36:20 Don't think so. The lore was always "Legion needed parts. Legion tried brains. Brains good. Now, Legion use brains." Of course humans are terrible, horrible things when power and control is "needed." I wouldn't be shocked if the Empire was braining it up in those machines, but Raiden is the first instance of this concept even being mentioned in passing.
