Recommendation: Hibike Euphonium! A great anime, it's about music

OneTrueReason

Okay, seeing as there's a vacant slot for Saturday and while you get to decide on the next series, why don't we take that slot to react to a couple of videos on Youtube that analyze and break down the symbolism in many camera shots in Eighty-six? There's q small channel called "ctrlaltQQ" with 3 videos on "86 Eighty Six - Details and Symbolism you missed". It's truly fascinating to see the breakdown of many little details this amazing show has. Just a food for thought.

Hibiki

I recommend *Little Witch Academia*, one of the best anime done by Studio Trigger.

Silver Soul

Ishura would be my recommendation. I mentioned it before on a Durarara reaction, but the show was so interesting to me that I immediately went and read all of the light novels because I couldn't wait to see what happens next. Every character is unique and interesting and has their own ambitions. In my opinion, it's a perfect mix of political drama and action in a fantasy setting (technically isekai but not really).

And now you see why we live this show and characters. And I'm not a big shipper, but shin x Lena forever.

甲鉄城のカバネリ KABANERI OF THE iRON FORTRESS SAWANO is GOAT

If you would like a break from serious shows Hero Without a Class is a ton of stupid fun. Like guess most ridiculous choice each time the MC has one and he will pick that 99% of the time. It's fun to do while watching.

TheErisianMonk

I recommend Grimgar: Of Fantasy and Ash. A real classic these days. A stellar, fun, macabre anime. I know that you would seriously be able to appreciate the story and characters!

TheErisianMonk

Recommendation #2: Black Bullet. A seriously underspoken of anime. Fun show, cerebral plot points, kickass action. Not a AAA anime, but I truly treasure it, and it's so very different than just about anything else you've reacted to.

TheErisianMonk

Recommendation #3: Otherside Picnic. Super hella unique series. The two main girls are just a blast to watch develop. Basically, it's about the occult and about personal quests. I've never heard anyone dislike it.

TheErisianMonk

10:05 I love how very unShin like this frustrated groan is. He's got so damn much pent up in his heart and mind, and he's not really ever let that floodgate open. 10:55 Damn it. Immediate tears. I can never avoid wet cheeks during these last episodes. And that's how it should be. 13:10 Mat. This is one of the reasons you're favorite reacter for me. 🤘

TheErisianMonk

15:20 Voices of the Chord phasing in while Lena ramps up her passion and indignation is just masterful. I'm telling you....86 may be a perfect anime, even if it's not one's favorite. 18:10 Shin's tears....THIS is how you properly write the stoic badass main character of your story. I am damn close to openly weeping, again, from how relentless and beautiful this scene always is.

TheErisianMonk

47:28 Five times. 48:20 The woe in your voice when you thought you wouldn't get your reward. 🤧 51:22 The ever-so-slight redness to Shin's eyes and his blinking back the tears is a cement truck's worth of emotion.

Mat, thank you for watching this magnificent anime with us. I won't be able to re-up my subscription soon, so I am truly honoured to have gotten to see this series reaction before I go. Don't forget, this 3 video set will exponentially increase your love and respect for this adaptation. "86 Eighty Six - Reviewing Details You Missed From the Anime" You deserve to have this massive buff to your experience.
