It was awesome seeing how Shiki awakened her eyes and what happened after that accident!

The ending song is great man. One of my favorites of the saga. 1. This movie also cuts a lot of content. -Mikiya founding Touko's place. -The comment of Shiki's body when she was in coma. They describe as it if her body was freezed in time and doesn't change at all outside of the hair. -Touko deciding to become a doctor at that hospital becuause she was curious about this girl Mikiya is always talking about. -And most important, the fact that Touko mentions that the hospital is strange becuase it have Bounded Field for some reason. That's why there were a lot of Ghosts in there. 2. You can actually see Fujou Kirie (first movie antagonist) in one fo the scenes of Mikiya in the hospital on the movie. Cuz she was in the same hospital. It's the scene right after Shiki said that people are so lonely. 3. The rank of Mystic Eyes of Death Percepption have already been said. In Lord El-Melloi II anime there is a scene in where they talk about how those are kind of a myth due to their rarity and that they are most likely rainbow rank Mystic Eyes. 4. The name Araya Souren has been brought up 2 times. One in the 3rd movie. Touko gave Shiki some key access cards with the name Araya Souren. The other one is in this same movie, when Touko arrives at the hospital for the first time, the nurses are talking about how Touko is replacing "Dr. Araya". 5. For when chronologically the post-credit scenes happened, without spoilers, only talking about the first two scenes (the one that we already know Kirie and Fujino). The movie doesn't give us a clear asnwer while the novels did make it clear, that's why I'm answering the question. So the Kirie one happens right after the end of this movie, previous to August 1998. The Fujino one happens right after she was hit with a bat in the back. That thing that Minato Keita says they do to her and was the only time she showed pain. She cannot walk properly due to reciving great damage to her backbone, so this guy cure her. The next movie is a big one, with 1 hour and 55 minutes. So see you at that.

platinum mad

when she says Kokutou's name sounds like a french poet she's referring to Jean Cocteau lol

I've heard a pretty good analysis about a few of Nasu's main characters and I found it helped me understand Mikiya a bit more. Basically the analysis said that from first glance Nasu appears to be writing a pretty standard trope most of the time the trope of a "Normal" Male character getting dragged into the mysterious world by the more interesting Female lead. This is usually used when the main character is supposed to be audience insert but the difference when Nasu does it is that he is lying when he makes the male character appear "Normal". In Fate Shirou to the rest of the world he appears to be a normal slightly more helpful than average high school boy. Over the course of the story it's revealed he's more aware of the mysterious side of things than first seems but that's actually not what's not "normal" about him. What's not normal is his complete lack of self value that Rin realizes in UBW. In Mikiya's case what is not "normal" about him is that he takes being "normal" too far and has "normal" reactions to abnormal situations. He doesn't react to severe things like they are severe he just reacts to them like he would anything else. If you were to tell him an interesting mundane fact or an insane world shifting hidden secret he is someone who react about the same to both.

What a weird take on Mikiya lol. I feel like I’m watching a different show.
