Yeah, Japan had a similar "count as 1 as soon as you're born" counting system until about 1950 when they legally switched to the more familiar one. So I guess being sealed off from the rest of the country, this village uses the "old" system. Glad episode 2 continued the momentum from episode 1. Lots of distinct characters and funny moments amid the action. Gabby continues to steal the show (same voice actress as Elfnein in Symphogear and Frederica in 86).... Horse daemon god reminded me of Enkidu from Fate.

Lycoris radiata, known as the red spider lily, red magic lily, corpse flower, or equinox flower represents lost love, death, seperation & mourning. In case of Yuru & Asa its a symbol of their seperation.
