Yeah, I think Rudy was six or so when he last saw Roxy. Good to finally see Roxy showing off with her battle magic (as opposed to disposing of Elinalise's boyfriends). Rudy having the exact book they needed for the Teleporter Labyrinth looks like the Man-God might be working behind the scenes, as he was the one to tell Rudy to research the mana-disaster and that's why Sylphie found the book for him... Hey, Elinalise could get killed, leading to Cliff falling into despair, returning home to the Church and being manipulated into bcoming an evil pope who leads a dark crusade that plunges the entire world into a religious war that leads to the death of millions. Rudy might regret that....

Idk about evil pope. The current pope is the one who raised Cliff and his faction wants to coexist with demons. Maybe there is some other nefarious stuff going on, but between cliffs faction and the girl Eris saved in the ova, her faction that wants the opposite, I favor the coexist faction.

The anime does NOTHING to properly show the month of extremely terrifying hell that Roxy went through. She had one tiny spot where she could eat, sleep, and shite, where monsters wouldn't spawn. Also, the teleportation circles changed destinations, yet she always ended up in the same room eventually. The fact that she didn't give up sooner shows immense fortitude!!
