Chikujoiin is the best character of the series.

I am a little put off by Mamika rolling over to her back, yet......no blood on her outfit?!?!? Maybe that's to minimize the rating pressure, but it is really unsettling to me. Makes it harder to g.a.f. about Mamika's death, someone who clearly isn't real, since her blood barely leaves a mark more than artistic puddles. Sorry, I'm REAL big into realism in macabre scenes. I want the legitimate emotional effects and impact.

TheErisianMonk

Yes, Mat. Good eye. While I'm not into needless ecchi in the form of excessive panty shots, I, again, say that realism is best, so having the MS Paint spraypaint effect covering Magane's panties as her groin is fully exposed as she jumps onto the railing is GOOFY. They must have reeeeeally been concerned with the rating of this episode or the series as a whole.

TheErisianMonk

Magane's power is truly horrifying. Most of us wouldn't even clock tiny uses of words to form a lie or untruth. We live, moving forward, basing so much on our assumptions and expectations, so we fill in gaps that aren't even there sometimes, often overwriting how others feel or what they say. I mean, there's even an industry of online content that entertains viewers with someone confounding strangers with their words and behaviors. So many people IRL survive on misspeaking just right to bend others to their will, so how fucked would we be if that took the form of a reality-warping power?!? I forgot how much this anime makes me think. Nicesu!
