That was some very interesting building of the magic system, also cool seeing more of the teachers POV!

I fear for Seiran and Ari even more than before. Before, I already had a feeling that something terrible will happen to one of them. Now, Seiran asking if Ari would cast a resurrection spell if she dies feels like foreshadowing. Even more when you see them in opening, Seiran standing on the dark side looking at ruins, Ari on the bright side looking at the beautiful ocean. Speaking of them and on a happier, did cou notice their bed arrangements? One bed is empty, no mattress, no sheets, no pillows (at the same time the other bed having two pillows), meaning they indeed are sharing one bed. I love such small details! When the question came up why the nurse let Mimi mingle with the other students I started suspecting her to want to subvert the system to release Mimi from this cruel cycle of fighting, dying, returning, fighting again. I don't know how exactly it might work or what her actual reason is, but she must have been full aware that Mimi's secret won't stay a secret for longe once she started interacting with other students. So, to summarize, here are my 2 predictions (I don't know the Manga, so they can't be spoilers): 1) Something terrible will happen to Seiran and/or Ari (I hope not, Ari is my favorite character so far, but the shadows are coming closer fast). 2) The nurse is planning something and therefore is deliberalety and secretly working to spill Mimi's secret

I saw someone's post about dropping this series specifically for seeing the Build-A-Mimi scene. They felt that seeing her brought back in pieces ruined the anime for them....... lolwtf?!?

Love your comment. Yeah, AriSei discussing giving up their life and soul for the other strikes me as hella ominous. It was only in this episode that Seiran's position in the OP struck me as metaphorish or something bad. I love both of these ladies, so...please, no? With the bedding situation, I missed that detail(feeling pretty lame now), but I do think that they were the hot-and-bothered couple on a bed in the main trailer for the series. I could be wrong, but... they are the perfect situation to entice fans with. I don't get the nurse, but I REALLY wanna believe that she is slowing and willfully-clumsily making moves to better Mimi's life. Things kinda can't much rougher for Mimi than her life was before joining the schooling. The only potential badnik move I can see Fran making would be trying to use Sheena(Mimi makes friend->friend is convenient tool) to fully break Mimi, which would theoretically lead to Mimi just fighting and obeying orders, without the signs of boredom and rebelliousness. That's a mighty big, scary "If." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Tbh, by total accident, I spoiled 1 single vague sentence of the future of this anime, and I thought not thinking about it would let the thing float away and not bother me. NOPE. Trying to not think about it sat it in the front row, right where I can't avoid it!

Damn it, I adore the genuineness of Mimi's reactions to everything to do with Sheena. If I were getting responded to with those sorta faces and sweet, earnest words, I'd be screwed and my heart would be hers. 15:10 Yes sir. The school gets painted as a Grade A meat grinder at first.

21:00 Not only do they sleep together(awesome detail!), but there's the 2 little dolls on the edge of the nightstand resembling Ari and Seiran. How adorable!!! Duuuuude!!! I looked up "sajou no hana" on a whim, and..... I love a LOT of stuff their bass player made!! Not only has this band done some amazing anime openings, but Tatsuya Kitani, the bassist, solo'd the track for Itaden Dieties Know Only Peace, which the OP for that is what I consider to be the best ever visuals + music" and the OP for the first 5 episodes of JJK season 2. He was half of GEMN, who did "Fatal," the OP for Oshi no Ko S2! The band also did a BUNCH of songs Mob Psycho, DanMachi, Toaru Railgun, Spy Classeoom, and more!
