Tanya realizes she must justify "the Evil" part of the show's title. Loved the Tanya expressions... she got weirdly enthusiastic about the plot! I think "make him a field marshal" was an allusion to Hitler's promotion of General Paulus at Stalingrad to Field Marshal (to convince him to commit suicide rather than let Russia capture him, as no German field marshal has ever surrendered before).
