Kanzaki is one of the several "Saints" who are born as mystical "supermen". Railgun - I have single ability, it's named as such (also extra utilities of said power). Index - Lets have a massive paper on each singular power while introducing multiples of them per each episode... Some amusing tidbits, Aleister Crowley is inspired by a real occultist weirdo from the start of the 20th century, while The Banned List book by the Catholic Church was active up until 1966. In the novel the fight between Kanzaki and the British Knights is described showcasing the disparity between enhanced knights and Kanzaki, while the anime just skipped it, sadly.
