Drawings made on this day in years past:

2006

Catwoman: pencil sketch of a very powerful Catwoman

Drow Women: pencil sketch of some spider women of the Underdark. They look sweet here, but whenever I have encountered them in D&D games, they are really horrible. But maybe that's because I play with a lot of old heads.

Warrior Woman: pencil sketch of an amazon woman from the fantasyy world I set a lot of my drawings in for a few years. I forget which country she was supposed to be representative of.

2007 Genica for Amaz0ns: Pencil sketch with photoshop overdrawing. This was the first time I drew Genica as a distinct character- there was a publicity event at the Amaz0ns forum to draw your character in an Amaz0ns t-shirt, so I kind of made her up for the occasion. She also has roots in a superhero character I made back in the 80s for a roleplaying game, but she is entirely refurbished from that version.

2009 Skeletor, Alas Poor Yorick: for some reason, some drawings of Skeletor talking to a skull.

2009 Skeletor II: pencil sketch and worse angle on Skeletor soliloquizing.

2011

Sakaar Phone Doodle: pencil sketch of a potential character for a comic, made while talking to Marcelo Bravo, the writer and creator of the Ultravixen series. We eventually re-tooled this idea into Star Valkyrie, which might have gotten published- I am not sure.

Sakaar Sketch: color pencil sketch

Sakaar Face: pencil sketch of her mean mugging.

2014

Ghost Soldier: pencil sketch of an opponent for Superman. I drew some fill-in pages for Action Comics #29 and #30. I beleive what had happened was that the writer had planned for Ghost Soldier to be an agent of Lex Luthor, but Mr Luthor was also appearing as the villain in the other Superman title that month. So there was a last minute rewrite, introducing a new villain and her agency. Regualr series artist Aaron Kuderman was probably already busy drawing future issues, so I was hired to draw the replacement pages on a pretty tight deadline. I got to draw a bunch of strange stuff for those issues, and hopefully people enjoyed them.

Superman: ink sketch. Practicing drawing Superman as much like Aron Kuder as I could.

Superman Faces: Pencil sketches. Trying to keep Superman on -model while emoting.

Tom Strong: ink sketch- the file says Tom Strong- not sure why I was drawing him, other than reading a bunch of Alan Moore America's Best Comics titles at the time.

2018 Lift Sketch: pencil sketch of a big strong woman ligfting nothing

2018 Lift: Digital color- big strong woman continues to lift nothing

2020 Fo and Pheaux: colored ink sketches of Fo, the squat lady, and her partner Pheaux, the archer. These two are the back-up characters/comic relief in Savage Hearts, the Darkhorse comic I worked on with Aubrey Sitterson.

2023 Annihilus Maybe: digital sketch of some sort of monster, possibly the Fantastic Four villain form the Negative Zone.

2023 Cesta: marker and color pencil sketch of a fighting woman with spiked gloves

2023 Gargoyles: ink sketches of various gargoyles and devils

2023 Faces: ink sketches of some lady faces

2024 Faces: pencil sketches of some more faces

I miss the days of doing stuff like this. Maybe we should do a newer age collaboration image.
