Drawings made on this day in years past (and some comics pages too):

2013 Femme Fatale Mirrored: commissioned rendered color piece- a pencil drawing painted over with photoshop. I like this one- it's very dramatic and the lady looks super voluptuous. Apparently this is result of a lot of back and forth editorial notes with the commissioner, so I must have risen to the occasion.

2013 Femme Fatale Pencils: rendered pencils for the previous piece. I mistakenly drew her as a brunettte.

2004 Elven War Strumpet: pencil sketch with rudimentary photoshop background- it looks like I was using a mouse without pressure control to do airbrush marks.

2009 Fisticrusher: Digital drawing I think? Maybe a scanned ink drawing with digital color. My gal Fisticuff dressed as Angel-Crusher- the self insert character for the guy who ran the original character fight bracket contests over on DeviantArt. AFL or Angel-Crusher Fighting League.

2012 Possessed Vanessa vs Fisticuff inks: ink drawing of Yvoire's Vanessa fighting with my Fisticuff.

2012 Vanessa vs Fistcuff color: I don't know if this pin would even work.

2013 Felicity Bliss pencils: commissioned drawing for a color sketch of a very strong weightlifting lady for RoseZobel

2013 Felicity Bliss: color sketch stage of the previous image.

2014: at this point I was drawing a couple of Justice League annuals for DC Comics: this artwork is for Justice League: Future's End: Annual #1. These are the rough drawings I did for tracing off onto the final pages. The inked and pasted up final artwork is included as well.

Small figures: this is a mix of pencil drawings for the small supervillians fighting on page 1, and some side characters from page 4.

JL page 1 inks: showing the orbiting security satellites above the Martian prison planet, the Justice League shuttle landed outside the prison, with some supervillains fighting Cyborg, Flash and a character who only appeared in Future's End called Vostok, I think? Mongul easily holds all 3 heroes at bay. Inside the prison, Captain Atom soliloquizes.

Captain Atom in prison: pencil sketches for page 2.

JL page 2 inks: The rest of the Justice League faces off against Captain Atom who is being mind controlled by Gorilla Grodd. Also jail warden Martian Manhunter has had the tables turned on him and is held captive. The League members appearing here are Equinox, Dawnstar and Stormguard (the guy in the USA flag cape- another Future's End character).

Fight Scene: pencil sketches for pages 3 and 4.

JL page 3 inks: Dawnstar tries to talk some sense into Captain Atom (who I think was in prison due to his opposition to whatever Orwellian plans the League was engaged in in this alternate future version of 2020.) Equinox uses her cold powers to try and freeze him, but Captain Atom just starts growing to giant size.

Giant Captain Atom: pencil sketches for pages 4 and 5.

JL page 4 inks: Captain Atom is being very Dr Manhattany in this story. Here he grows to giant size and bursts the prison open. Vostok-X seems to think a handgun might help, Mongul is surprised enough to stop clobbering Flash and Cyborg. Other escaped supervillians are scattered about- Blockbuster, Killer Frost and Mechaneer (another Future's End only character).

JL page 5 inks: Mongul isn't afraid of Captain Atom- though he should be, as he promptly gets blasted flat as a pancake. Flash and Cyborg do some quick battlefield planning and our heroes leap into action! I enjoyed the chance to draw a bunch of superheroes, but the story didn't seem to lead anywhere.

2015 Fisticuff vs Fisticuff: ink drawing- While doing one of my compulsive searches for Fisticuff artwork on DeviantArt I happened across another Fisticuff! This character was drawn by Stardustnebulae, and in the description, he is described as being in a legal battle with another hero with the same name! How could I pass this up? (Disclaimer: we are not actually in a legal battle.)

2015 Fisticuff vs Fisticuff color

2016 Faces: pencil drawings, in which I seem to be trying to stay on model while drawing a superheroine and her secret identity.

2017 Shocktra pencils: underdrawing for a commissioned piece featuring Dyviera's electrical superheroine.

2017 Shocktra colors: man- I am all typed out...
