Drawings made on this day in years past:

2016 G-Girl: pencil sketch of a superheroine whose name starts with G, apparently. I think I changed her letter and turned this "character" into Fenomenon, another big strong woman I have never developed a story for. I begin to believe I hate writing?

2010:

Apocalypse Motorcycle designs: pencil sketches done for the Princess Highway commission i drew for Greg McClean. I think the motorcycle is cribbed pretty heavily from the Dark Knight motorcycle, with the addition of a ferring and some solar panels.

More Apocalypse Motorcyles designs:

Knife Bunnygirl: compositional drawing for another Greg McClean project, this time a group of deadly sorority girls who slay classic Universal style monsters.

2014 JLU Luchadora rough drawings: preparatory pencil sketches I drew to trace off onto comic pages. This was for the Justice League United: Future's End Annual I drew. An un-named villainess appeared in the story, who was described as a Joker-themed Luchadora powered by Bane Venom. I believe she was a last minute replacement for actual Bane, who had been written into the script, but it turned out Bane was in a different book that month, probably a Bat-family book, and so, would not be appearing in the Martian jail-break scene in JLU:FE. Anyway, I got to design her, she doesn't have a name, and she will never appear in another book, since she only appeared in an alternate-future 2020 of a version of the DC universe that no longer exists.

2014 World's Finest: pencil and marker sketch of Power Girl and Huntress. I found out I was going to be working on Worlds' Finest for DC, which at the time featured PG and Huntress as Earth 2 refugees living on Earth 1. I was excited to get to draw both of them, but it turned out I only drew one issue that featured them in a couple of fight scenes. The rest of my run was set in the past of Earth 2, concentrating on the adventures of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman defending Earth 2 from invasion from Apokolips.

2016 Mikan: digital sketch of a big strong woman named Mikan- I think this was either a commission or a stream request, though I don't remember for whom.

2016 Singapore: a digital sketch of me and the missus enjoying our trip to Singapore- almost got heatstroke, ate a lot of seafood!

2016 Sketches: digital sketches of several ladies, some hands and Fisticuff riding General Warnicorn (who is a creation of PlummyPress on DeviantArt).

2019

Big Necklace: pencil sketch of a pretty lady wearing a necklace that might be made out of marshmallows.

Hey Kids, Comics! faux covers: pencil drawings for a series of covers for fake comicbooks that I drew for Howard Chaykin's Hey Kids. I did pencils and either Howard or Ramon Torrez inked them, for use as paste-up elements in the series, which was a lightly veiled warts and all retelling of the history of the making of comics from the 1950s to modern day. Most of these are faux 50's books from pre and post Comics Code.

Covers 1: Athena-X pin-up, Powerhouse in a 1950s style (though he looks pretty modern), Athena-X 1950's style; punching out a dinosaur while an Etta Candy type eats dino eggs.

Covers 2: MidKnight 1950s style; crouching on a gargoyle, Major Storm, Major Storm Jr.

Covers 3: Storm Family 1950s style, A Simon and Kirby style romance comic, Percy! an Archie-like teen romance book.

Covers 5: Trog; a caveman comic, MURDER; a crime comic, Saddle Pals; a cowboy book.

Covers 6: Percy and Pals!; featuring rival love interests, a war comic, Wak; a humor book

Covers 7: Terror Patrol; special forces vs monsters, Frontier Nightmares; cowgirl vs zombies, a girls' comic about a model

Covers 8: Terror Tomb, Wak, a crime comic

Covers 9: Haunted Yarn (? I can't read Howard's scribble here), Graveyard Echoes, a horror/comedy book
