Drawings made on July 24ths past:

2012 Gorgeous: digital paintover of a pencils sketch of a very robust jungle bikini girl. Her wide stance indicates a stability of character, let's say.

2006 Torso: unfinished pencil sketch of a lady with proud bearing and distressed trousers.

2008 Joker: pencil sketch of The Joker, which according to the annotation, was drawn at San Diego Comic Con. That's going on this weekend, but I didn't get my act together to attend.

2010 She-Hulk vs E. Honda: pencil sketch request or commission or somesuch for a DeviantArt guy who always wanted to get artwork of strong lady characters getting bearhugged by Street Fighter dudes. I think this is kind of a weak effort on my part- it doesn't look right. For shame, 2010 Jed!

2010 Wonder Woman vs Fortress: a series of images covering the production of a full color commisison piece featuring WW getting beaten up by another superlady- the commissioner didn't specify, so I used my gal Fortress in the piece, if memory serves me correctly.

First sketch- a bit too crowded, WW looks kind of weak.

Layout sketches- figuring out the scene , and making the action more obvious- looks like I decided on a side view for simplicity.

2012 Fisticuff Victorious: Pencil sketch of Fisticuff for a victory celebration for the Three Dollar Fighter competition I won. A piece I do not seem to have completed.

Your jungle gals don’t miss also OUCH that gut punch to Diana 😂

That jungle lady is definitely gorgeous! ❤️ Also I find your drawing technique intriguing: it looks like the flats you laid aren't visible at all in the finished piece. Were those there for reference only?

Thanks, Hirumono! that process is pretty similar to what I used for color sketches still. I paint out flat color layers for each character or background element or clothing item. Then I render on that layer. Lastly over the top of the flat colors and lineart I add another paintover layer to pick out detail and juicy bits of highlight.
