Chapter 40 of Witchcraft and Devilry, in which Venelana announces Rias and Harry's engagement at the party, partially to annoy her sister, leading to a conversation between the couple and Riser which will have consequences. None of them can really focus on that, though, as their meeting with Liam Lynch is arranged for the next day and they spend one last night trying to get thier minds off of it before the likely battle to come. As they meet with the latest head of the Lynch family, Koneko and Kiba, relegated to guard duty, discover a secret that family has kept hidden for generation.

Well now quite the exciting chapter! First Venelana has her revenge against her sister for the lust curse against Rias laster chapter by announcing Rias's engagement to Harry at Minobella's gala which pissed her off. That was funny but as a result Harry now has to battle Riser which given how careful you are having him train I am going to assume you are buffing him to not make it a complete cakewalk for Harry as even though he sucks Riser still is a powerful devil and it would be nice to see him fight and not just roll over and lose. Make Harry work for a bit for that victory to show off the power of Devils the higher the ranks you climb that way it'll build up the nightmare that Rizevim is when Harry fights him eventually. After that, of course Harry pleases all of his girls in an incredible orgy scene which I enjoyed reading. Finally, they made it to the tower and had a decent conversation with Liam until Harry mentioned the case in now it turned hostile and not only that but it was revealed that Liam was actually Diarmid instead. Crazy plot twist and I cannot wait for the battle next chapter and also I loved Sirius's end comment there as I am pretty certain he was fighting against Kreacher whom he never liked anyway. Hopefully Dobby doesn't turn into an enemy though but yeah Kreacher can die he is horrible anyway. Looking forward to the next chapter of this incredible story.

I think it was already foreshadowed that Dobby won’t turn. Lynch seemed upset when told that a house elf wanted clothes rather than continue to suffer the abuse from its family.
