Chapter 42 of Witchcraft and Devilry, in which Fleur goes to have a long-awaited conversation with her family, Hermione brings the old elf they found to Gremory Castle for examination, leading to an unexpected result, and Harry makes good on his deal with Reinhardt, who quickly ushers him out to deal with a very different guest.

"As for me being a devil, surely from how they took you in today and kept you safe, you can see that they are not all the monsters that we were taught they are.” “I will admit that I’ve been surprised by how utterly pleasant they’ve been,” Zeoticus replied." I believe this should be Sebastian not Zeoticus.

Thanks for the chapter :)

Oh hilarious. I loved the Overlord video games. I do hope Dobby might stay Dobby.

Dova

Dobby might be another gray minion they’re the special ones that have distinct personalities i.e gnarl ,the jester ,the blacksmith

Okay, Gnarl and the minions are absolutely hilarious! Loved the chapter, great way to conclude this arc. And that little teaser at the end… so intriguing! I wonder what Rizevim wants with Harry… I’m not surprised that Sebastian’s sex drive is gone, I was kinda anticipating that. Now we’ll just have to wait for Apolline to reach out to Fleur and Harry.

Are these Minions a reference to the Minions of Despicable Me? 😂

Voivode_Writer

No. They're the minions of Overlord, a short series of video games from the company that did the Age of Wonders series. Rhianna Pratchett, daughter of Terry Pratchett, and the one who wrote the 2013 Tomb Raider game, wrote them. They're quite funny and available on Steam for pretty cheap if you're interested.

Another wonderful chapter and great conclusion to this arc for the story! Excited to see where Harry, Rias, and the others go from here and of course Rizevim is scheming evil things as he does.

Nova Sana

The minions are the perfect foils for Hermione’s “Mary Sue” tendencies. Unexpected comedy gold there!

I've been giggling off and on at the idea of Hermione Granger, reluctant Overlady of the House-Elves for many months now. The 'but we do live in a dark tower' line from Luna is the whole reason that I did what I did with the Rookery.
