Chapter 49 of Witchcraft and Devilry, in which the perverted trio witness something truly devastating only for life to get worse as a new girl introduces herself to Issei. After that, Rias gives the new devils their first true lesson in devilry, Akeno picks up on something potentially dangerous, and Harry finally helps Apolline through her terrible ordeal just as a certain nun novice arrives in Japan, hoping that life will turn out better there.

Great chapter, I can't wait to see more.

Another wonderful chapter. Harry and his lovers enjoying Kuoh academy, Issei having a midlife crisis that Harry is a harem king before him which made me laugh and Akeno sensing Raynare for a moment. Plus we got the scene with Apolline which I assume she will be joining the harem temporarily while her husband recovers though given Harry's nature in bed she might end up a permanent addition. Finally, cute little Asia at the end there so things are moving forward and I cannot wait to read what happens next.

I loved Issei’s internal crisis and desperation… Also really glad to have finally read Apolline getting fucked by Harry! I knew it would come some day

More plot please, the snu-snu is nice but we're now moving forward onto the dxd series season 1. More action would be preferable, with characters being more proactive and less reactionary like series and getting their butts handed to them but still winning by the skin of their teeth or a pathetic Hail Mary(Issei Hyoudou). Sorry, just my personal opinion.

I do have to agree though I do think that due to prior events Rias and the others will be less likely to sit on their hands as they now have some experience with just how bad things can get

is Sebastian becoming a jedi?

Brian Jordan

Hmmm. As expected, Issei's story is not going quite as it had before and, better still, he's starting to show faint signs of growing just a little before everything goes crazier. Also, if Raynare follows her plan to kill Issei, does Rias have the option of resurrecting him? If not, does Sona? Or is there another devil who might become involved? Or... Should a meeting between Asia and Sebastian be anticipated? Would the various Fallen Angels in the area object? (Of course they will - it's in their nature.)

Erinnyes

Awesome chapter, though I hate Issei’s character and am hoping he changes or dies soon. Beyond him, incredible work with Appoline, and I’m really excited to see where things are going with Asia!
