Chapter 54 of Witchcraft and Devilry, in which Harry, Rias, and the others attack the church, fully intending to capture the fallen angels alive, after which they summon and commune with Nicolas Flamel, seeking information, Rias goes to visit her parents, and then they set about attempting the ritual, which goes absolutely swimmingly with no complications whatsoever.

....I'm horrified just thinking of Doomslayer with a knights speed. Not that I think it'll happen, but that tank of a man reaching speeds of that level would be.... Delightful.

And thus ends the Raynare arc and of course the fallen angels. I am very excited to see where this goes and who that woman is that the portal spat out. Now that they used the ritual for the first time Hermione can refine it enough to ensure safe travel to the various worlds out there.

Noticed a mistake on the paragraph where Rias is explaining why she brought Luna as part of her squad she you wrote Luna's ability to defend herself is greater than Harry, Hermione & Luna's. Presumably you meant to write Fleur in that last line

I feel like I should have expected something like that... but still caught me by surprise. And I'm not sure how I feel about it. Yeah, she would make traveling to other worlds easier, but I think you already did that in a different fic. Plus, if it's for Harry's eventual Peerage... DxD already has so many characters that are basically completely underutilized. Not sure how I feel about possibly introducing a bunch of crossover characters for that purpose. Could be off the mark, sure, but that seems like a *really* easy way to jump the shark and turn the harem into an overbloated mess if I'm not.

To be honest, half the reason that Helping Hands exists is because I brainstormed all kinds of characters that I could add to the harem in this story when I decided to add Ciri to it about a year ago and then realized that it would be overbloated and ridiculous and cut almost all of them off for a separate story. Without spoiling anything, my more refined plans for this are greatly restrained.

Of course. Ciri. They sought the means to travel to any world, and the magic responded by giving them Ciri, whose abilities allow her to travel anywhere. Make her a Devil, help her master her powers, and they can go anywhere. I'd love to see the Wild Hunt turn up in Hell and try shit. Eredin threatens Sona, everyone winces and says "you shouldn't have done that" and you faintly hear a scream of "how dare you threaten my So-tan!" before Serafall turns Eredin into a paste.
