Chapter 29 of Delightful Duty, in which Qoren plots to strike at the Targaryens, while Rhaenyra plots to lure him into her trap. As she and Jon set out to visit the castle of Blackhaven, Viserys gets a report on the progress that's been made on the great sept and Daemon and Laena make a very interesting discovery.

Hmm, wonder if the lack of spy management training means they'll have Daemon introduce them to Mysaria. Would be an interesting way to bring her into the story directly for the first time 🤔

Saito

Yep… plus the discovery that some of her girls are directly working for the Dornish would no doubt infuriate her so she would be eager to root them out

She needs to be introduced to Myseria, & together clean house.

I love have Rhaenyra and Jon have laid the perfect bait to draw the Prince of Dorne himself to try to capture Rhaenyra... if they capture him then they can create absolute chaos for the Dornish and likely a power struggle... Or is this part of a plan to eventually force the Dornish to join the Iron Throne....

Love the chapter. Hopefully the plan works and Jon and Rhaenyra capture the Prince. Leana and Daemon organizing the Valyrian library may lead to them discovering some amazing finds that Jon and Rhaenyra haven't had time to find. Just a suggestion but how about Leana find a scroll on an offshoot skills of the Path of the Flesh called the Path of Dragons which will let Leana become the first in centuries proper Dragon vet/caregiver which will allow the Black dragons to grow stronger, larger, and healthier. As for Daemon he could find scrolls on the Freeholds military which could inspire him to make a proper army out of the former Gold Cloaks that follow him.

Just had a suggestion for when Jon masters Valyrian forging he could make a valyrian steel hand like Götz von Berlichingen for Lymond Mallister that would help improve his social standing with the lords and impress them and the King with his ability. Plus this would help Rhaenyra by further cementing the Riverlands to her cause.
