This was a great chapter of the story dealing with the aftermath of Fenrir's attack and how he essentially turned Hermione's world upside down now that she's a werewolf too. I am glad to see that Harry will essentially take care of both her and Chiara during the full moon at least until the potion is perfected and they are completely cured. That being said Lucius needs to die in a fire him and Draco both. I cannot wait to see him get his comeuppance in this story. Looking forward to reading the next one

Honestly, there have got to be desperate wizards just like there are desperate people IRL. Sirius should just put out a hit on Lucius. If Slughorn can get 10 people kissed on a favor surely there's a wizard out there who'd cap a blonde dickhead for a nice payday.

Going to Luigi Mangione Lucius. It would be so easy for an American Half-Blood wizard to smuggle a Glock with a silencer into GB using a Moke skin pouch.

Oh dear. Lucius has problems. Lucius knows how many of the old gang of Death Eaters are gone in a ‘terrible accident’. Voldemort is not as gone as Lucius needs him to be. What happens when he finally comes back? Tom will be annoyed at the thinning of his most useful followers, including the werewolves. Finding out that the diary is gone will not be easily ignored. Given Mr. Riddle's forgiving nature, being scared as hell is a very reasonable attitude. As Aaron Orr notes, finding someone to go after anyone with a smuggled muggle weapon is not hard to conceive of. If Lucius grows desperate it might seem an easy solution. If it doesn’t succeed, try, try again. Oddly, the greatest threat to Lucius might be Narcissa. How far will she go to keep her son from being caught in the crossfire? Lucius has problems. They are getting worse.

The people in Azkaban were weak and defenceless, a guard just had to unlock a few cell doors then let the dementors back into the wing. Lucius is armed, wary, lives behind heavy wards, and was one of Voldemort's top lieutenants. In this story be seems to be highly competent and quite clever. Tl;dr I think many people wouldn't take that job, and most of the ones that would are the ones too dumb to pull it off. There would be some highly skilled hitmen willing to take the risk, but do they move in circles Sirius knows about? Doubtful. Good idea though, and I hope it is something Sirius tries, but he'd have to be careful it can't be tracked back to him, or Lucius will be able to use that to his advantage.

I've always opposed the death penalty, but if someone pushed Lucius out a window or slipped some polonium into his soup I wouldn't complain.
