Chapter 16 of Helping Hands, in which Harry and the party venture into the Underdark, finding a curious village of friendly fungi and get given a quest to kill a number of murderous duergar, something none of them have any problem with, especially when the sovereign points out that their leader would likely have the information they seek.

So.. How long Harry & Co would be in BG3 world? Do you have any plans for next world?

The part of this arc based in act one of BG3 ended this chapter and the act two and three part combined is probably going to be shorter than it, so it shouldn't be too many more chapters. I have a few ideas for the next world that I'm mulling over but I haven't entirely decided yet. I could also potentially end the story entirely and start something else if everyone is sick of it by then.

Honestly, I would be down to read an entire fic purely based in BG3.

I am very much not sick of it. I kinda want to see Harry end up in a few worlds. A scifi one like Mass Effect ot Star Wars for instance. Or an alternate Potterverse with an Evil!Dumbledore. Skyrim. :-)

Definitely not sick of it! I really enjoy this story for some reason, I love the chaos of it!

This fic may be doomed, IDK. There may be people out there who want a full-bore BG3 fic but frankly the plot of that game is boring and dragged out and your fic has suffered from that. You tried your best to be brief but it's so overly drawn out and almost intentionally boring that your fic got infected by it. You can try and pull out of this situation if you judge your muse well-enough qualified, but I might consider just consigning it to ruin as not meant to be finished. You got a bit deeper into BG3 than you should have.

I really like the game, but I don't think it translated quite as well into the written form as I had hoped. I'm not going to abandon it, but I will be moving through the rest of it more quickly and I will keep in mind how this turned out in future to avoid stumbling into anything else like it.
