My goodness this chapter was beyond amazing and that cliffhanger was incredible. I cannot wait to find out the explanation for it next chapter hopefully and it would seem Kokabiel is going to die next chapter as well if he showed up.

That was a hype moment for me as that was exactly what the pool was for that Hermione built and now it has worked. Akeno should be next so Harry can also inherit Holy Lightning as well as the Power of Destruction. Both would be vital against his future fight with Rizevim.

Great chapter but hate that evil cliffhanger. Just one suggestion what is the inherited power of the House of Gremory since even canon hasn't stated what that is I submit that House Gremory has the power of Sight. In other words the ability to see the past,present, and future with crystal clear clarity not that it will help with the current problem but felt it should be included for later plot lines.

I suppose it's a possibility that it was some sort of coordinated trick where they faked being affected by the lightshow.

Doesn't really explain why the spirit could seemingly cast spells, and seemingly effective ones at that, although it might have been a coordinated trick of some sort.

You're assuming that the story we were told that The Tyrant died way back when (a basic rule of the High School DxD series) is correct. Your reasoning, based on that premise, is quite logical. I simply think the premise is false. My premise: God wanted to give free will a fair shot. The problem is all the powerful beings who know He is and will screw things up accordingly. So God removes Himself from existence and they all agree He is gone and proceed accordingly. The lesser beings are told whatever their more powerful leaders feel like telling them. P.S. My theory, plus a quarter, is worth $.25 cents.
