This video is available only on Patreon until it goes public on June 29, 2022 at 6pm PST.

Edit: I reuploaded this video so that you can actually see your home planet at the very end. So if you see your comments missing, that's why! It's a new version :)

Hello cutie pies! This is a video that has a concept that I've often found very soothing. You are an alien that has been living amongst humans for 80 years. You thought your species forgot you, until one day you hear them speak to you. They guide you to a safe house for you to receive a medical check up. You might recognize Dr. Softly from previous sci-fi roleplays :) Then you are sent out on a ship through space... you are finally going home.

It's very celestial and slow and starry and trippy. It has space music, layered triggers, and an echo effect. I hope it helps you sleep :)

Just started. Gosh, I'm loving it. Kinda floating. Nite, nite <3

Probably the most immersive video of your channel. Watching Dr. Softly doing that medical care so slowly... it's fantastic. Good idea with the echo effect, it makes everything wrapped in a hypnotic and mind-blowing rhythm. Even when you don't speak, the visual effects with the music and the breathing are also the reasons why I think what I said at the beginning. But I am still amazed by this effect, when Dr. Softly appeared. I don't know with what other context you can apply it but seeing a character in slow motion and with echo effect is something I would like to see again. Extremely relaxing and too immersive. Bravo!

Ive been waiting for u to make a video like this. Gg bro

Hello Bekah! Great video! Imaging the alien coming to Earth in the middle of WW2,(1942) and how barbaric we would have seemed, but then knowing someone personally, knowing our capacity for good as well falling in love, and living as one of us then going home in 2022! Then having to write one helluva long report about their experiences! Should have known that your video would have me thinking like this🤔 before i dozed off! 😴Bravo!!! Btw also love the voiceover and the star field effect A+

Yoshi2084

Fantastic video! Great concept and execution. The visuals and echo effect are very relaxing. Great work!

Alien: I finally made contact with my people after 80 years on this rock and they refuse to pay for first class transport, I gotta take couch. At least the TSA agent was pretty.

softlygaloshes

It was quite an experience for the alien, I'll tell you that! But they're finally home.

Rolling Thunder

This was an amazing video, I love the long form style you have been doing recently. They make it so easy to drift off to and provide a restful sleep. And you used light triggers in this one (my favorite)! Another great video/short movie, Bekah. I hope to see more of these in the future, if you enjoy making them. :)

😊 Thank you! I love falling asleep to ambience videos, so I like adding that at the end. I sometimes listen to my own ambience endings 😅

Rolling Thunder

Well, you have been doing some amazing work lately and the ambient sound endings are really excellent for assisting in a restful sleep. Have you ever checked out The Guild of Ambience on YT? They do long form soundtracks for background noise in both interior and exterior locations. Really cool for gaming, but I find some of them are also very relaxing like Indoor Rain Sounds.

Dion

This has got to be one of the most effective videos you've made for putting me to sleep. Just something about the all the layers just works, not to mention the audio is balanced phenomenally.

softlygaloshes

☺️ Thank you so much! I put a lot of care into the volume of every layer so that it all is perfect whether you listen to it very quietly or more loudly.

jimothyjim

This is nice! I'm a fan of layered things and echos and that kind of thing. And the sleep breathing stuff at the end is a bonus

softlygaloshes

So many layers hehe!! And if you make it all the way to the very end... you arrive at your home planet :)
