Marian and her mess! To not even look that man in his eyes and give him a chance to explain, is ridiculous. And glad that Bertha is peeping that her maid is sketchy. I’ve been thinking it was her running her mouth. Not convinced that the doc is strong enough for Peggy. He’s a momma’s boy + I hate that I agree with his mother, as far as will he be ok with Peggy’s strong will as a wife. Rooting for them, but not sure they’re really on the same page. Oscar was sweet for helping Maud out like that. But losing his boo like that was horrific.

They threw us a curveball with that ending. My heart breaks for Oscar. 😔 And I agree with you about Doctor Kirkland. His momma knows what he admires in a woman (Peggy), will not be what he wants in a wife. I think he realized Peggy and him have different outlooks on their future.

Great review, I think Peggy should have still told. Dr. Kirkland about her previous marriage and baby before his mother does.
