PAPA!!! STRANGER THINGS 4X8 FULL LENGTH WATCH ALONG

Bryson

A little easter egg: The Michael Myers mask Eddie got from Max was the same one she wore in season 2 when the kids went trick-or-treating. 😊 With this episode, my heart broke for El and Will. I'm glad you both caught on to Will confessing his feelings for Mike, but using El's name as a disguise. I'm sure, it would've been beyond scary for a closeted teenage boy in 1986 in small-town America, so I understand why he did that. You were correct about Will lying when he told Mike that El asked him to do the painting, by the way! El mentioned in episode 1 that Will wouldn't tell her who the painting was for. He painted it specifically for Mike. He loves El like a sister and values his friendship with Mike, so he wouldn't want to risk those things. I look forward to hearing all of your thoughts after the finale!

Yeah, that's a tough situation Will is in. Not only being in the closet, but the person he loves is in a relationship with another one of his closest friends. It was also tough watching Jonathan watch Will go through that. Also, being in high school, everything feels amplified because it feels like that's the whole world.
