Hi Everyone! We've got spooky movie number 4 here! This movie was soooo fricken good! I'm so glad you all recommended we watch it. I'm really feeling the 80's thriller/horror movies. "The Thing" was also 80's and that's an all time favorite now too! Okay, okay time to grab your Halloween candy and get cozy... can't wait to watch more Spoooooky movies with you ❤️❤️❤️

80s and 90s movies just hit differently.

Very true. Even though I‘m 21 and all of these old movies and tv shows are from before my time I absolutely fell in love with them.

Maybe not the best vampire movie, but it's up there with the best. Your reaction to the "greasy sax" player, better known as Tim Cappello, is probably now my favorite moment in this channel's history. 🤣 Tim spent many years as the saxophone player for Tina Turner and his song in this movie, "I Still Believe" was his one hit. In fact, he still wears that same outfit when he performs today, though with less grease lol.

Anthony Donato

Great reaction guys, you both are awesome! My Cousin Vinny (1992) is a great comedy I think you guy's would enjoy. Love you guy's.

Simone's Coconut Squire

So, I feel silly admitting this, but maybe I'm not the only one...? Anyway, what went completely over my head for YEARS until I read an article about this movie, was that this movie was supposed to be "Peter pan, but what if he never gets old because he's a vampire?" The clues were all right there! The kid's name was Michael, the dog was Nanook (Nana in the original) and the NAME OF THE FRIGGIN' MOVIE IS THE LOST BOYS *facepalm*

The cast, the humour, a teen movie, the music. This is easily a top 5 most 80s of 80s movies. Notice every internal shot of comic store, no matter what time or day, there are always two passed out hippies next to the wall phone. FYI a Batman #14 would go for approx. $13,000 today. The Superman #77 Sam complained about being in the wrong section goes for a cool $3,000 ! Watching this aged 14 a few things happened. I started collecting comics (I now have >10,000). BMX was THE mode of travel. We all bought machine gun water pistols. Back in the 80s Swatch watches were all the rage, hence the Swatch clock in Sam's room. There is also a rather sexy poster of fellow Brat Packers Rob Lowe and Demi Moore. Please consider the spiritual successor to The Breakfast Club (three stars return) by the same director as The Lost Boys Joel Schumacher - St Elmo's Fire, the movie that coined the term Brat Pack. Sooooooooooooo 80s it hurts. I have this soundtrack on LP. It is worth about £200 ! Lost Boys catapulted Corey Haim (Sam) and Corey Feldman (Edgar) to teen heart throb status. Unfortunately they went down the Robert Downey Jnr route of drugs and debauchery. Haim died penniless aged 38 after spending time inside, he died of a suspected drug overdose and was almost unrecognisable in his later years. His death shocked his best friend Feldman straight whom made a return to acting. More Brat Pack with Kiefer Sutherland - Young Guns. Western with Kiefer, Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen with Terance Stamp (Zod) and Jack Palance (Batman). Really good. More Dianne West (mum) - The Birdcage. Gay drag club owner Robin Williams has to host a dinner party for his right wing Conservative fiancée's parents (Gene Hackman). Hilarious. Jason Patrick (Michael) made some incredibly deep and gritty thrillers - Narc with Ray Liotta (Goodfellas) and Rush with Jennifer Jason Leigh (Hateful Eight). Both are a really hard watch.
