Putting aside all the ethics o the situation, I don't think Walt is being greedy when it comes to the legacy costs thing. True those guys keeping silent would in the end be potentially beneficial to him, he's right that all the stuff about the previous arrangement being with Gus and its ongoing fixes being a Mike problem, not his.

No, he isn't.

The insight into 'he's always been like this' is a good one I think and pretty impressive to spot during first watch! That's how I come to think of it, he was just too timid and scared for his true nature to exert itself - on a rewatch you actually see how abusive and nasty to Jesse he is almost all the time, even timid 'lovely' Walt shouting at Jesse calling him a moron, degrading him and putting him down all the time and stuff. We laugh first time around because its kinda played that way but taking a step back and looking at Walt's behaviour even in S1 towards Jesse it was kinda abusive and cruel.

I know how important and expensive hair is on a set. Super pro's doing their darndest to make it right. Then I think about Walt, and Jesse, and Mike, and Gus, and Victor, and Hank, and Cyrus, and the murder Twins, and Huell, now Ted, and Tuco, and Tio, and some others. This is the baldest show that's ever balded.

In an interview Jesse Plemons said the only information on Todd he was given prior to shooting was from a writer who told him: "you know when you're driving & a deer pops out on the road in front you- do you swerve into the oncoming car on the left or do you go right and crash into the ditch? You hit the deer".

I think Mike should have brought this up to Walt & Jesse from the beginning and they could decided to partner up or not.

Them cooking in bug infested homes when Walt complained about the fly in the lab a couple seasons ago is now ironic. Skyler's "Shut Up!" became a ringtone lol Jesse's face at end, it's his disbelief on the person Walt has become. He's starting to see 👀 Heisenburg

This is the episode for me where Walt 110% turns into a P.O.S., acting like a child trying to be tough and not even trying to hide it. He is smart, yet making the dumbest ego decisions, that are so dangerous. He 100% wants to get caught I always thought.

It's interesting how so many viewers come to see Walt as a fullblown clinical psychopath with no humanity whatsoever, interpreting the look he gives Brock in this episode as indifferent or even hateful. I think it's because Cranston is so menacing this season. IMO Walt's a narcissist not a psychopath. When he came up with the poison plan he told himself that Brock wouldn't be in any real danger because the dose wouldn't be lethal. He was so confident in himself, and so absorbed by his own problems, he probably didn't even reckon with the moral question at all. But Brock did almost die and here, seeing him, Walt is confronted with the reality of what he did.

Oooo very interesting point. That does make sense... I think Jordan and I lean to having very all or nothing thinking, so we jump to "he's a full on psychopath!" right away... But your view actually fits more.

I love the shift between Jessie and Walt. When jessie first became Walt's partner under Gus, Jessie was complaining about the money and walt was being the smart one. Now Walt's being the immature one.

Love how you have managed to avoid spoilers. Hope you can keep that going through the end of BCS. This is my 3rd or 4th trip through BB and I dislike Walt more each time.

I believe it haha. Yeah I'm really happy nothing was spoiled for us too!
