Howdy everyone! That's right, we've got another bonus movie this month! We loved the first two Indiana Jones movies so much, so we just had to fit this one in too. Also, we won't be watching the fourth one, as we've both already seen it. And I'm not actually sure how many more there are after that haha... so let us know if you recommend any others!

What better way to spend my Birthday than watching the Best Indiana Jones movie 🍿

Lesley and Zack

As a lifelong Indiana Jones fan, I didn’t enjoy Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as much… but I really was happy with the last one, Dial of Destiny. It really did what Crystal Skull should have done. Worth the watch!

There's one more after Kingdom called The Dial of Destiny. It's important to see as it's the official final film of the series.

Dial of Destiny was soooo much better than Crystal Skull. Not sure why it bombed at the box office. As another lifelong Indy fan, I loved it. The new game is also pretty much another 30 hour movie lol. And it’s amazing.

So after a lot of watches, some plot holes start to stand out, but what I think is most amusing are some continuity errors, e.g. the X in the library disappears when Indy is actually smashing the floor tile, and one I just noticed in this watch through: in the boat chase scene, towards the end, the motor on Indy's boat burns out and starts smoking which allows the other boat to ram them, setting up the propeller bit. However, the propeller destroys the WORKING boat, but when it's time to bail, Elsa is driving the boat with the burnt out motor as if nothing ever happened.

Simone's Coconut Squire

It was better than Crystal Skull, but I felt like the ending kinda jumped the shark AGAIN which was disappointing after the first part of the movie was better grounded and true to the Indy magic. It's been a while though, I might change my mind on a second watch.

Sean Connery recommendations? How about six of the first seven James Bond movies.

Wade Wallenstein

This film was pure 80s Action/Adventure that never fails to make you laugh and smile. I have never seen Crystal Skull or Dial of Destiny so to use a phrase going around "Indiana Jones ended with The Last Crusade."

MaplenutsReact

Oooooh! I'm one day late, but Happy Birthday! ❤️❤️❤️

MaplenutsReact

Ooh! I missed both of those... you have a good eye!

This movie is just an absolute joy from start to finish. But above it all, I love that, in a cinematic sense, James Bond is the father of Indiana Jones. What could be more perfect?

MaplenutsReact

Haha, now that we've seen him as Bond I totally agree!!
