Morning folks ❤️Today we've got a movie that's all about character it would seem. We both thought this movie was super interesting in the way it was shot, and how the story was told - very different from anything else we've seen. Plus the soundtrack was a masterpiece. We also noticed that Michael Madsen just recently passed away. I don't think we've seen him in anything else, but he was fantastic in this movie and we would love to see more movies with him. I mention it during the movie, but I really think he looks a bit like Elvis! So if you've got recommendations for other movies Michael Madsen is in, we'd love to hear em'! Thanks everyone 😊

very classic movie

Michael Madsen is also great in his other Tarantino movies: Kill Bill Vol. 1&2, The Hateful Eight, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood... He's also very good in the movie Donnie Brasco with Johnny Depp and Al Pacino. Quick Trivia - His character in Reservoir Dogs is the brother of John Travolta's character in Pulp Fiction.

100% agree to all that.

Any movie with Michael Madsen and directed by Tarantino would be good for reactions if you haven't seen them yet.

It's not super clear what happens to Mr. Pink at the end, but you can hear some faint yelling when he exits the warehouse. He may have been caught, but I think that guy is slippery enough to have gotten away. Tarantino has committed himself to directing one more movie, and I hope it's a follow up film about Mr. Pink 😆

You were talking about the diner and liking the interesting scene of people just talking. QT is known for his mundane, natural, yet very interesting, character building and very exposition heavy movies. Chandra did call it at that diner table. Maybe someone will shoot him... Mr Orange being shot, may be one of the most sincere, I think, and realistic versions of someone slowly dying from a traumatic wound I have ever seen in a movie, the pleading, resorting to being childlike, such a good, haunting portrayal.

Alright just watched your full reaction. I'll say this in the most non-spoiler way possible (but if people are reading this, you should have already watched the movie)...the person who you thought got away at the end, did not. If you listen very closely in the background (or subtitles) you'll hear that character run into the police outside. So, pretty sure he didn't get away. Fun Fact - The "Reservoir Dogs" car (Mr. Blonde's car) was Michael Madsen's personal vehicle. He eventually gave to his sister in Wisconsin where she had it in storage. My Uncle happened to be friends with her and I got to see the car one Summer around 1994 or 1995. Also, being from Milwaukee and a big Brewers fan, Mr. White has to be my favorite character but I love them all.

And all Quentin Tarantino soundtracks are amazing 🎵

Tommy

Tarantino has said in interviews that Pink dies....you hear the firefight outside with the cops.

Tommy

Mr. Pink dies. You hear the gunfight outside. The Police were always there waiting. Tarantino confirms it in a couple of different interviews. You need to watch Pulp Fiction next....this is where Tarantino really shows his talents.

That's Tarantino's interpretation. I'm talking about mine. Although I guess that means I won't get my Mr. Pink sequel LOL Rats.

If you listen in the background, you can hear Mr. Pink getting caught by the cops outside at the end. My favorite detail is that the movie's ending is basically mapped out at the restaurant scene in the beginning: Eddie doesn't figure out the plot until it's too late (talking about who shot who in the song/Mr. Orange), Joe tells Eddie to shoot Mr. White, Mr. Pink tries to keep the money for himself (the tip/loot), Mr. White defends the underdog (waitresses/Mr. White), and Mr. Orange is the rat about who didn't tip. Fun Cameo: The radio DJ is hilarious stand-up comedian Steven Wright.

I really like the fan theory of Mr Pink not dying and going into witness protection and becoming another character in the QT universe.

Mr. Blonde’s brother is in Pulp Fiction! I know Tarantino kicked around the idea of a Vega brothers movie for a while. I don’t remember why it never came to fruition.

Sam

White shot Joe and Eddie.

Love Chandra’s comment about never hearing Stuck in the Middle without picturing that brutal scene. I very recently saw a top 10 Mojo YouTube about songs that can never be pictured differently again because of movies and I think that one was almost number 1 on the list.

John Colson

The Tarantino movies are essential viewing. Especially Kill Bill Vol I and 2

MaplenutsReact

Aww I wanted him to make it out! Hahaha. Also, that's super cool about the car... It's like seeing a movie star!

MaplenutsReact

Whoooa!!! I totally didn't put that together, I love that!

John Colson

Oh I've met Mark Hamill and Chris Farley. I'm good 😂

MaplenutsReact

Oh dang! Haha yeah I can totally see why it's up there.

Nope

According to QT, because it was supposed to be a prequel to everything we've seen. And by the time he would have been able to shoot the movie they were both way too old to play themselves as younger men lol.
