More Swayze? Yes Please! ❤️❤️❤️This is a must see movie... I think all Swayze movies are now haha. We've only seen a handful, but so far they are all amazing! I can't help but think he must have been a very kind hearted person in real life too. I always love hearing behind the scenes stories about actors, so if you know any fun ones about Patrick Swayze, do tell!

This is the movie that made throat ripping seem possible and awesome 😎 Definitely check out the remake! It's so much fun. I wouldn't say it's better, it's just awesome in a different way 😀

Please PLEASE react to “To Wong Foo, Thenks for Everything! Julie Newmar”. Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze and John Leguizamo as drag queens on a road trip. It is such a camp classic and my favorite Swayze performance by miles. He and Snipes play so against their stereotypes and personas and sell it. NOBODY reacts to it and it’s a real shame cuz it’s a queer camp classic. And the director is in the UK Parliament as a baroness in the House of Lords and advocates for children’s protections online and is currently fighting against AI and for regulation against its use. She’s rad as hell.

As far as Behind the Scenes goes, I know Swayze made Ghost after this movie because he hurt his knee and needed to do something less strenuous. That however meant he had to turn down Tango & Cash and Predator 2. Marshall Teague and Swayze initially didn't get along until they filmed their fight scene and realized they shared a passionate dedication to realistic stunt work. Then they started bonding finally! All the actors did their own stunts. Each one was trained by Benny Urquidez who held nine black belts in nine different martial arts

This movie is such dumb, over the top fun. Such amazing dialogue. Swayze is just too cool and Sam Elliot looks like a salt and pepper god. Man, Chandra called it right from the intro! 👏 I can see why everyone expects this legend to be bigger. Swayze is only 5'10". Ya he's cut like marble but not particularly huge. Great reaction! Thanks! I really great drama with Sam Elliot is Mask, with Cher and Eric Stoltz. Based on a true story. Some stories floated around before and after Swayze's passing, that he donated significant amounts of money for cancer research and would send hand written letters and video messages to fans that were dealing with illnesses, letting them know he knew what the were going through and they weren't alone. Stand up dude from all I've heard.

Funny you keep thinking Patrick is huge. In his best shape he was 5'10" 180 pounds. Pretty small for someone in that line of work.. :) Also speaking of people in this that look older or bigger. The girl that played Denise was cast in this film at 17. She turned 18 couple months after shooting began. 80's were a different time for sure. I'm in my 50's and almost the same age as her and even when I watched this in the theater I thought she was at least out of college like around 22-23.

That movie made me cry. I mean, pretty much every movie makes me cry, but THAT SCENE with Chi-Chi really hurt my heart; and Swayze comes in and puts my broken heart back together. I'm not enough of an authority on acting to say that he was one of the greats, but I personally believe that he was one of the greatest movie stars ever. "Vida works out. Vida works out...a LOT".
