Good Morning everyone!Thank you all for voting in last week's Big Shiny TV Poll! We're going to use the results to shape the next year or so of TV shows on our channel. It will probably be a few months before you see the first show from the poll though, as we're still working our way through Better Call Saul, The Book of Boba Fett/The Mandalorian, and we've got Stranger Things starting right away too!For this week's poll we've got a mix of Psychological Horror and Supernatural Horror movies (the second and third most voted horror genre on our previous horror poll). I'm sure all of them will scare the heck out of us, so happy voting!

While Hereditary is great (as are Doctor Sleep & Psycho), The Exorcist is an all-time-classic that significantly influenced the horror genre when it came out. No journey into horror can be complete without it.

In order of importance: Psycho, the Exorcist, Hereditary, and then Doctor Sleep. Psycho was one of the first horror films and introduces you to many Firsts in filming. The Exorcist is a serious classic as mentioned below. Pea Soup will never look the same. Hereditary is a psychological horror and very Now! Doctor Sleep has the devastatingly handsome Ewan (Obi-wan) and is a great continuation of the Shining!

God, all great picks! If you get around to Doctor Sleep, be sure to watch the Director's Cut. It'd help to re-watch The Shining first too so it's fresh in your head.

It's not so much religious as it is Cassie refuses to watch evil and she doesn't like seeing kids hurt or in pain which I don't blame her honestly. Everyone has a certain comfort level and people should respect hers.

Toni Collette deserved an Oscar for Hereditary. Not just a nomination, but the actual Oscar. She completely broke and devastated me. Despite that I voted for that film in this poll, I honestly wonder if it is actually a bit too hardcore.

Well, since I believe "The Exorcist" is one of the best films (of any kind) ever made, it got my vote. But "Hereditary" would be second. And I'd love to see you guys react to "Sinister," which didn't make the list but which is a truly unsettling film! I'd remove "Psycho" from this list altogether; while it is a great film, I don't think it qualifies as "horror" in any way; it is more psychological suspense. (That is, I would say there are pretty much zero actual scares or frightening scenes in this film; the focus is much more on suspense.)
