Did you know E.T. (well, his species) were in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace? Follow the link in my next comment for a fun, homage filled trip through cinema. Also, Chandra imagine being 6 when this released and watching E.T. die in the theater. It explains a lot of my adult trauma 😂

I haven't actually seen The Phantom Menace! That's really fun E.T. shows up in other movies though haha. I could barely handle him dying as an adult!

just happened across this vid (well, the YT version) after watching one of your newer reaction vids. And I know this was only a little over 2 years ago, but my reaction to seeing you guys in this early video (in a completely different room) was similar to your reactions to seeing little Drew Barrymore.

Hahaha it's so weird for us too honestly! It feels like a lifetime ago

this is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time. i don't know how many times i'v seen this in the cinema (i was 7 when it came out here in he netherlands), and later on vhs. i also had the score on lp and i'm pretty sure i have driven everybody in the house crazy with how often i played it. according to some 'making of' i've seen ages ago spielberg made sure that drew barrymore thought e.t. was real. so they hid any animatronics and made sure she never saw the suit without someone in it. the first time she saw e.t. in the movie was also the first time she saw it at all, her scream is 100% geniune...
