This album is not like any of his other work. This is why all of the members needed the time to explore, expand and grow.

Yay! I’ve been hyped for this albums first listen reaction. Any reason you left “Groin” out?

Jeonstastic

YESS haven’t even watched ur reaction yet but I’m so excited!! 😆 I feel like this piece is really significant

also I know people don’t like the comparison but I got major Tyler the creator and Thunder Cat vibes from a lot of the tracks. I think people often mistake inspiration as imitation. But personally I feel like it just shows how much respect joon has for music ESPECIALLY black music and artists. His ear is NUTS (lol)

Edit: you noticed it too! Everyone was acting like I was crazy for pointing out the similarities between EQ and Lost 😭

Jeonstastic

Sorry I’m spamming a bit but I just find it so funny when I watch people’s reactions to LOST and they try to turn on the subs in the beginning 😭 I think it was done on purpose to make viewers feel .. lost 🫠

Diana

14:06 yes it’s African vibes but mixed with the Japanese lyrics is crazy, I like the vibes and I guess they did that since lil simz was on it.

For better understanding I would reccomend you to watch Namjoon and Jimin talking about this album. It s called ,,mini moni album exchange" and it is on BTS YouTube channel. Rm explained a little bit his situation and how lost he was year ago

Domodachi gives me FELA vibes and is one of my favourite tracks on this album. It takes me back home (Nigeria) and to the time where Fela was so popular and going to Fela's house was a thing (i never went when he was alive cos i was way too young). I don't know if you know or even remember FELA KUTI. I feel like RM channelled Fela's African Jazz Funk vibes and I'm here for it. P.S this is my favourite RM album, MONO is a veeery close second.

Etoile2004

Noura

If your missing the joy of survival shows... you should try watching PEAK TIME.... its kinda interesting concept if you ask me....heres what it says on Wikipedia (ive watched the whole season) : "Hosted by Lee Seung-gi, the program provides a stage for already debuted K-pop boy bands to once again prove their skills to audiences outside of South Korea and compete for the "Worldwide Idol" title.[1][3] The final Top 6 teams got the special benefit of having their names disclosed while performing on the show and held a concert.[9] The judges are: Kyuhyun (lead judge) Jay Park Kim Sung-kyu Lee Gi-kwang Mino (Ep. 1–4) Ryan S. Jhun Shim Jae-won Tiffany Young Moonbyul (Ep. 4–11) Theres some epic performances there that i had to watch multiple times :)
